The Hyatt Place on International Drive is a really nice hotel. I live in Florida and I'm a travel agent. Orlando, along with all of its attractions, is one of my specialty areas. I stayed at the Hyatt on a FAM. This is a perk given to agents which allow us to familiarize ourselves with the property. The hotel is very attractive and the room decor is inviting. I didn't take any pictures because I normally don't write reviews, but I decided the I should really do so because of my great stay. I love a clean hotel. I look for severval things when I walk into a hotel room.
I look at the bed, of course. I pay close attention to the sheets, mattress, and box spring. If the mattress is yucky then I cant sleep on it even though the sheets may be clean. I also look and the tile and grout in the bathroom. Mold and mildew is a good clue that the place isnt being properly cleaned. Stain on the carpet and chip/peeling paint is turn off too. I know I may be a little picky, but I'm expressing all of this to let you know that the Hyatt was on point. Our room was very comfortable and the location is AWESOME!

hotel was very clean and tidy.staff were very helpfull.the breakfast was a little disappointing as there was not much choice unless you wanted to pay extra for hot food.the room was very spacecious and impressive although the air conditioner was very loud which made it quite hard to sleep.great location on international drive only a short walk to shops and resturants,highly recommend tgi fridays.

I stayed here for 2 weeks as a family of four, (children ages 4 and 7). It's a lovely hotel in a great location on International Drive. There are loads of restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk nearby. I would recommend Tony Roma's and Uno Chicago grill for food, both nearby on International Drive.

If you have a car, It's less than a ten minute drive to Universal parks, and around 15-20 mins drive to the Disney resorts. Rooms are clean with housekeeping every day, have 2 double beds and a sofa bed. There is no safe in the room, but you can use the one stored in a reception room free of charge , which is controlled by staff. You get your own safety deposit box and key, and a card to sign for every time you access it, and it is kept away in a locked room.

There's a great choice of breads, toast, bagels, fruit, and cereals for breakfast, along with Coffee, tea and Juices.

The staff are very courteous and helpful if you need help with anything. Free Wifi is great.

There is a small pool which we never used as the hotel is just a base for visiting the parks.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Booked this hotel for a trip through hotwire and was very satisfied. Free breakfast is great, lots of choices and the egg muffins are delicious. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great selection of teas/coffee/juices in am and only a short drive to Universal. Also the only hotel room I can find to comfortably fit a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 preteens, 1 toddler) since they have the option of 2 double beds plus a sofa sleeper in a standard room. I plan on staying here again on my next trip. I do wish they offered free transportation to Universal though.
