I picked this hotel because of its location and it was perfect. It was located off IDrive, actually the universal Blvd side which runs parallel to IDrive so if you want to avoid the traffic use Universal Blvd to get around. It was close to tons of great chain and local restaurants and a Walgreens, pointe Orlando for shopping and a movie theater. Everything was within walking distance with sidewalks that catered to pedestrians.
Check in was quick and efficient and the agent was very friendly, answering all my questions with detail and didn't make me feel rushed or hurried. She told me about the area amenities and all the hotel itself had to offer.
My room was in great shape and I noticed this property just had some renovations which made it even better! I loved the brand new carpet and the shower curtain design all had a beautiful color palette. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was perfect since we shared it with another couple. One room had a king bed the other a queen and each had their own spacious bathroom. There was a small kitchen with a full size fridge, dishwasher, sink and all the necessities that a residence inn offers. Also a dining room table with seating for 4.
The living room also had a sleeper sofa and all 3 rooms had nice flat screen tvs.
My biggest pet peeve at hotels is low washer pressure and a tight shower but this hotel had neither! Great water pressure in the shower and could even adjust the streaming on the shower head and they had the curved shower rod which I want at home!
The hotel had free wifi with easy access and also a free hot breakfast that was delicious with lots of variety. They also had a pool but didn't get time to enjoy but it looked lovely.
The best part?? Noon check out! :) I expected 10am and was pleasantly surprised to find out I would be getting 2 extra hours then planned.
Overall all a greats place to stay for family, business or a random getaway with friends!!
