The Caribe Roayale is a good hotel for families, even though it is also a convention center. The rooms are large and well equipped with a nice size refridgerator, microwave and coffee machine. The separate seating area with television provides a family with two nice rooms and plenty of space to spread out. While it is not a fancy hotel, the Caribe is clean, the rooms are spacious and the waterfall pool is great for the kids.

The Caribe is also close to all the Disney Parks as well as Seaworld, Universal Studios and the Orlando convention center. I have stayed here two times and the staff has always been nice and polite.

We were at this property for a convention, however, we enjoyed our time there as it was a great family vacation as well! We used the fitness center daily which was well equipped with more than we needed! The restaurants had friendly service, great food and all the available options that kept us from having to leave the property to purchase anything. The location was superb and overall I give the property 5 stars!

We had booked a week at one of the budget resorts on Disney property. I wanted to add three more days on to our trip later, and decided to look for a non-Disney property. I was pleasantly surprised with the Caribe. For a little less than the Disney Budget rooms, we got a large King Suite at the Caribe. The bathroom was huge, with a large jacuzzi tub. My daughters loved taking a bubble bath each night. My wife and I enjoyed the large bedroom while the girls had the queen sleeper sofa in the other room. We found the rooms quiet and nicely appointed.

The pool area was nice. The girls liked the slide, and the waterfall, where you could relax behind it was neat.

We got some dinner at the Cafe Largo, using the food credit we got via a hotel booking site. Pizza's sauce was a bit spicy.

The location is very convenient to getting to and from the Disney parks.

The main reasoon to stay on Disney property is for the extar morning or evening hour they give guests. If you are visiting Disney, but do not plan to take advantage of that, save your money and stay at the Caribe.
