Most of the points on this one come from its location: 5 minutes from Orlando International Airport. And, within walking distance of lots of restaurants. For an early morning flight out of MCO, this is a hard location to beat.

Other than that, it's simply nothing to write home about. Those familiar with Hampton will neither be excited nor disappointed.

Check in was quick and painless. Hotel was clean. Staff was pleasant. Room was clean and well appointed. There were some areas which smelled like cigarette smoke -- hallways and especially stairways. But this may not be the fault of the hotel... could be misbehaved guests. Room was quite, bed was good, shower worked just fine.

Just nothing which made it remarkably good or bad except for its proximity to the airport.

The hotel was very convienent, and clean. Only stayed one night, and did not get a lot of sleep, due to thin walls. Whoever was in the room next to me had perhaps the world's most annoying mobile phone, which was happily chiming through the night. The next morning, there was a lot of noise from the hallway. In fairness to the hotel, it was definitely more rude travelers then anything else, but it was not a pleasant experience. The bed was also not quite what I have come to expect from Hampton Inn. Front desk staff doing check-in at midnight were excellent.

This was booked last minute on hotwire for only $38, and with the quality of this hotel, almost too good to be true!

Check-in was quick and easy, Leon was friendly and helpful by unexpectedly placing us on the VIP floor. We each received a coupon for a free drink and our choice of a free gift. There was free lemonade, mints and a convenience snack store in the lobby.

The 2 queen bed room was VERY large, nicely decorated with plenty of storage space, a fridge and microwave. The comforter, pillows and bed were all clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was sparkling clean with nice amenities and large towels. The sink, toilet and shower were all in one room, so no extra space to get ready.

The location felt very safe and next door to the airport with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. You could hear a slight roar of the planes, but nothing loud enough to keep us up at night. About 20 min to Disney if you hop on Hwy 528.

The WONDERFUL continental breakfast offered a great variety of eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereals, breads, oatmeal, fruits, waffles, pastries, etc. I was quite impressed by the quality of the items. No flimsy cinnamon rolls, off-brand cereals, or cheapy sausage. Everything tasted great with a lot of substance.

2 very small things: I wished the fridge would've gotten colder, there was no way to turn the temp down. The waffle maker at the breakfast was in the very corner, making it a little difficult for traffic flow.

Check-out was lightning fast, again, pleasant staff. I will stay here ANYTIME I'm in Orlando!

This hotel was fair to good. The location is fabulous. It is close to the airport and lots of eating establishments. It has a nice sized pool for this price range hotel. The beds felt comfortable. There were a decent amount of amenities in the room. However, I felt the room was on the smaller side. The bathroom was very small. The door barely cleared the countertop and it hit the shower curtain rod which was one of those curved types. I don't believe a large sized person would have fit in that bathroom. And 2 people would not have been able to work in it at the same time. The room was pretty clean except there was some mold growing under the arm rail grip in the shower/tub. Check in/out was easy. Price was good. I probably wouldn't stay there again because of the bathroom size, though.
