“utterly disgusting!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 July 2011

I just got to this place with my family and the first thing I did was turn the top comforter down. its what I always do at every hotel. the comforter here had blood stains on it. BLOOD STAINS! there was hair on the bed. there was a semen stain too. outside was gross. the grass wasn't cut. the door was disgusting. the garbage can smelled like something was dead in there. it was just utterly repulsive. we left not even 5minutes into being there. NEVER EVER EVER GO HERE! EVER!

“Awful stay. Terrible value, very sparse accomodations. Ick factor high!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 April 2011

We stayed there for a school club trip and needed a reasonably priced hotel near the UCF campus that was clean and safe. The "block" of rooms put us all over the hotel. When you have young teens and only a few chaperones, you don't want your kids to be on an outside-accessed corner room far away from the rest of the group. But that was nothing compared to the state of the property and the rooms. The bedspreads had holes and burns, the non-smoking room smelled like smoke, the mattresses were uncomfortable, furnishings had paint splatters, were old and rickety and looked awful. No shampoo or any other toiletries besides cheap soap and threadbare towels. Several of the rooms had roaches, and the tiny lobby was typically unstaffed. No amenities. The location was seedy and not near enough to UCF, .. had lots of shady looking people hanging around and rooms were not interior. Stairwells were dirty. I have plenty of travel experience; I've stayed in 5-star resorts and "iffy" places in foreign countries and others in between - and I would definitely expect more from a hotel in Orlando at the rate of about $80/night!

Room Tip: Don't stay here.

“Worst night of our lives.....”

This hotel is what you would see in a horror movies. It's unclean, smells likes urine and and gym lockers. Not to mention the stairway was horrible. There was garbage spilling over and it smelled like vomit. We went instantly to Walmart and bought towels and wash rags. Along with a good smelling candel and clorox disinfecting wipes to make the room smell decent and half way cleaned. We never took off our shoes the whole time there. It was the worst nights night sleep that we have ever had. Rock hard beds and nothing for pillows. Worst hotel we have ever stayed in. And the internet is a 5 dollar charge for password not to mention the 3 dollar charge when you attempt to connect.I don't like you and you ain't right!

“Does what it sets out to do, nothing more nothing less.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 December 2010

I stayed here via Priceline so didn't choose the hotel. I thought the "UCF" part of it would mean it's close to campus and some nightlife. Nope! You're not going to be able to run around outside. Lots of shady characters hang about at night, so be sure the stuff is out of your car or out of sight. The rooms were fine and comfortable and quiet. I got a good night's sleep. They (over)charged $5.00 for WiFi given pretty much everywhere else offers free WiFi, so consider that into your cost. Lower your expectations and you'll be fine, but it may be worth the extra few dollars to stay at any of the dozens of hotels in the area closer to the action. There is a pretty good Greek restaurant across the street, though.
