The rooms were nice and clean. But, you could hear everything in the hallway and rooms next door.

My boyfriend and I were attending an event in Winter Park but since there are no hotels in that area, we had to decide on a hotel either here or the true downtown area. We chose this hotel based on location and value. It is located right across the street from the Florida Hospital. The hotel website accurately represents the room and its layout - a little outdated style with orange comforters. It's not a pretty hotel, but it met my needs just fine with all the free amenities. What I liked:

- Room was clean, comfy and spacious
- Friendly and helpful front desk and housekeeping staff
- Free continental breakfast which included cereal, milk, and hot items like eggs and waffles
- Free and plentiful self-parking (this was usually $10-12 per day in the downtown area)
- Free use of business center with free printing
- Free wireless internet access (again, usually $10-12 per day at the downtown hotels)
- In room microwave and fridge, perfect for chilling beverages picked up at the local Publix
- Easy access to Winter Park.

Drawbacks to the hotel
- Location doesn't have anything interesting within walking distance. There is a strip mall but most of the space is un-rented, and the nearest walkable restaurant is the Wendy's next door. However, all the eateries and shops of Park Avenue in Winter Park are just a 10 minute drive away.
- Outdated style. Like I said, some people care about this, but we didn't mind at all since most of our time was spent outside the room.

Needed a place to stay for an event at Rollins College, this was reasonably close. The picture is accurate but definitely taken to highlight the motel's best angle. Not sure how room(s) qualifies these as suite's, because they have a refrigerator? Anyway these are standard hotel rooms, in a standard hotel - but nice enough to return to if needed.

Positives:
Free breakfast buffet
No hassle wireless connection
Close to Rollins
Not too far from Universal Studio's, just down the freeway
Close to downtown
Quiet nieghborhood
Relatively low cost
Refrigerator in room
Clean and quite

Negatives:
Nothing useful within walking distance except one fast food restaurant (shares parking lot)
Very limited breakfast buffet, orange juice so watered down it might has well been water. Got the impression hotel management really cost cutting on breakfast.
No copier in business center - 2 old pc's and one old printer

decent hotel, got a room on the 3rd floor. stayed 2 nights, had a good time, AC was cold, room was clean and bed was comfortable. parking lot is small and have to park over in the wendys side of the lot, otherwise I dont have anything to mention.

note - the parking situation isnt that bad, I have been a lot worse, but I had to find something to complain about on here and that was literally all I could come up with.
