This is a pleasant place to stay if you need to be in downtown Orlando. It is close to cultural amenities, and for us, close to the hospital, which is why we were there, for a doctor's appointment for our son. The kids enjoyed the complimentary cookies at the desk, though they would have liked to have had some in the late evening as a late night snack when we got back after dinner. They have a nice little shop for snacks and drinks, though the ice cream was a little overpriced. Their lounge/restaurant was nice to have, and breakfast was cooked to order. My kids were very excited because there was a TV crew from a national television program staying there at the same time, and the staff were low key about this. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The office offered free internet access and free printer privledges. The gym has excellent, top notch equipment and free bottled water, and an indoor spa, as well as an outdoor pool.
My two complaints: $10 a day for parking, which I felt was a little steep, and the area is very urban, so it's not a neighborhood you would want to stroll around at night, though I noticed their security was very present and thorough.
