I stayed here for 4 nights when working in the area. It is convenient to the businesses downtown, but is not in the best area of town. The hotel seemed pretty secure, but most of the parking is on the side and in the back of the hotel. If I ever came in after dark I felt a little nervous parking back there and walking into the hotel by myself. I saw a security guard out there one morning, but not at night, which I thought was strange. Also, this is probably not the best hotel for families. It is convenient to I-4, and about a 10 minute drive to Universal, 20 to Disney, but the outdoor pool is small, and is in the back of the building, so it does not even get direct sun until after 1pm or so. The fitness center is small, but has updated cardio machines with individual tvs. I did not get the best sleep of my life because when the air conditioner comes on it sounds like a plane taking off, and it is near some train tracks, so that provides plenty of noise to disturb your sleep. Other than that the hotel was clean and decent, but I might stay in a more tourist area next time. Parking is $10/day.
