The hotel is nice in a nice area. Had a shuttle to Universal Studios. We used it every morning. We took a cab back which cost us $7.00 thats with a tip. The breakfast was really good. It had the basic with your breads,fruit,cereal, waffle maker, but it also had scrambled eggs with bacon one morning, eggs with sausage links, omelets with sausage patties. No complaint from me. The complaint I have is.......The internet kept going out on are first night there. The other 2 nights no internet at all :( We had a soda explode in the refrigerator one night, too cold, no dial to turn it down.....room 500. My kids stayed in room 502 they complained about a clogged drain in shower. Noone showed up to fix it up at. Due to the internet issues probably will fine another hotel to stay in, but then again the breakfast might pull me back in. I just stayed there January 13 thru January 17

Excellent location, very near from Universal Studios. The hotel is clean and confortable, it has all the basic amenities (toiletries, sewing kit, mini bar, safe and coffee machine) it also has a microwave in the room.
They offered complimentary breakfast, which wasn't tasty at all but if you went for the basics of cereal, milk and coffee, you won't be disapointed (you can also make your own waffles which kids enjoyed). There is free wi-fi (which does work) and complimentary shuttle transpotration to Universal studios, also there is a bus-stop just in front that will take you to other parks and shopping areas.
Overall, a great experience and will definetly stay again.

I stayed one night this week. everything was very clean.The only thing was a minor problem with the bathroom shower drain, it was very clogged and we had to take a fast shower. The shower was a disabled shower,no tub. No security outside being a long holiday weekend. Other than that it was fine.

I spent one night at this property last week. The stay was decent but I would not have wanted to be there for a week. It is quite a basic room and it feels dated. There were no issues, though, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to someone for a short stay (1-3 nights).

That said, the breakfast was very nice and I enjoyed the shuttle to Universal. You could even walk to Universal from the hotel... probably 20 minute walk, so not bad at all.

Overall fine experience.
