I like this hotel... Really!! Out of the 3 reservations that I have made there, the one time that my family and I got to stay was nice. But the 2 other reservations that were made were totally disregarded by the night " supervisor ". Even after we showed her the conformation e-mail we were told to go sit and wait ( by this time we had already waited half an hour...after a 6 hour drive.. With a sleepy cranky baby in our arms. Needless to say we left. Thanks for NOTHING!!!

I have stayed in many hotels in Florida, while this is an older place and in need of updates, for a very cheap price this place has a lot to offer. They have a heated pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, bar, cardio equiptment, and a gift shop. The staff was friendly,and got great service at the bar. I have paid a lot more for a room and gotten a lot less. However, if you are looking for champagne on a beer budget then you will not like this place. But it is what it is,a sloid 2 1/2 to 3 star hotel. If you want more then pay more.

It was the worst experience ever. Right from our check in, the staff were grumpy and unpleasant. The elevators didn't work for the third floor, which was where our suite was so we had to use the stairs every single time. The room smelled terrible, like a wet dog. They didn't provide us with enough towels every night even though we repeatedly told them to give us one more set, so we had to go down ourselves every night to get an extra set of towels. On one occasion, the room service didn't come in to clean our suite at all! The lobby might have looked okay, but inside is terrible! It is dirty, with mold and webs everywhere! Don't stay here! You'll regret it, even if it was super cheap. Don't think this hotel looks good by the pictures they show on their website! THEY ONLY POSTED PICTURES OF THE VERY, VERY BEST. Sure, their pool looks nice, but now it looks NOTHING like that. The kid's pool water umbrella doesn't work, their games room is a mess, and their fitness room is tiny. Their website shows pictures of only the very beginning of the hotel, a beautiful nice place, but they showed TWO pictures of the suites. The real hotel looks NOTHING like what they claim it to be through their pictures! DO NOT STAY HERE.

Drab interiors, indifferent staff and deplorable hygiene standards--welcome to the Orlando Grand Hotel! We had the unfortunate experience of staying at this Hotel of Horrors during the 2011 Xmas holidays. Our room...well, to say it was filthy doesn't quite capture the full experience. The red ant infestation was an especially nice touch. Stephen King would find ample inspiration at the Orlando Grand should he ever decides to write the The Shining--Orlando Edition. Memo to local tourism community, Better Business Bureau and pest control authorities: Find out who is running this place and get him or her into a remedial hotel management program. There's nothing grand about this place at all--and failure to act will turn off even more visitors to the area for good.
