we stayed with 2 adults 2 kids in an island suite. views from these rooms are nonexistant, no grand view of Disney as shown in photos. room was comfortable if not a bit sparse and utiliatrian feeling. Staff were excellent and friendly, room service was quick and very good. Housekeeping was fair at best and pool was unkept during our stay (little kids undies left hanging on a hook overnight, towels everywhere on chairs after hours, wrappers and glasses left on the floor). We booked online directly through their site with a special package and staff and management were unsure of the details and throughout our stay needed to "confirm" the details. it seems the left and right hand had no idea what was happening.
Overall this is not a bad place to stay. The location and transport services are what drew us to this hotel however Disney is such a popular destination and there are many places to stay that surpass the quality of this hotel.

If you enjoy lots of christmassy music everywhere you go at around the beginning of advent and have young children Disney is the place to go. Its a lot chillier at night so pack lots of jumpers, scarves and coats and make the effort to tell the staff about the heating system which is left on Air-Con, "freezing", after the room is cleaned daily of which is an excellent standard. No plug to have a bath or , nobath robes supplied either which you would expect for a four/five star. Good view from petit balcony. Pleasant decor, memorable art work, funky furniture. Staff very efficient. I had to forfeit a day out that was pre-paid because of some information displayed and possibly misinterpreted or misunderstood on a computer screen. However the staff will go out of their way to ensure you are kept up to date with local transport links which is really useful if you have little time to see everything so real plus and the staff are accommodating right to the end of your trip. I would recommend this venue as a base for transport links to Disney, local parks, restaurants, malls. Anyone who can't get enough of Disney stores and need a "hole in the wall" in your hotel this is the one for you. Walking distance to downtown disney where the locals hangout at weekends. Great variety of restaurants. Lively enterntainment for all. Good atmosphere for everyone. Indoor pool would be good here to keep the winter guests flocking in. Busy international hotel. Used equally for business as well as pleasure. We only had breakfast in the hotel which was scrumptious, giving the choice of all you could eat if you were hungry to every fruit, yoghurt, muesili or continental - good start to the day. Could jog to Macdonalds in twenty minutes if you're super fit and have USA roadsense. Save a few dollars this way and read the paper. Superb smart staff. Weather bit different in December naturally just wrap up and have fun. Good christmassy vibe. Well worth a visit with Virgin. Book you evening shows as soon as you arrive. Plan your day trips with a map/leaflet so you get to see everything you had hoped to see.

I was in Orlando for business, so I was a little nervous staying so close to the Disney and Sea World. This hotel was great for the price and was quiet during my stay! When I needed to go shopping for the kids before I left, I was able to head over to Downtown Disney to pick up some items. The staff was very nice and helpful with any of my needs. Great price and location!
