I was in town for business and had a conference the next day- saved a ton on airfare flying in a day early and did not want to waste my savings on the high end hotel the conference was at. Got a killer deal - $70 with all taxes through my ICE Platinum Rewards program . Took cab here from Orlando airport - stopped off at HUGE McDonalds one exit up from the hotel since I was coming in too late to eat at airport or hotel. Thank goodness for 24 hour drive throughs! Staff at check in was friendly. I had a high floor room with a lovely view out over the area. Two very comfy beds - one to put my bags on- other for me to sleep in. Loved the pillow choices. Good water pressure and nice in room toiletries. Checked out at check out time next day after a great night's sleep. Would stay here again without hesitation. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN

hotel has a good location if visiting universal studios
the rooms were clean and beds were sooooo comfortable, staff was friendly,
lots of restaurants and activities nearby
lobby needs a bit of a makeover but great value for your money

top floors were under construction but for the price and location of everything wasn't bad. i would have like a room higher up but they were unavaliable

Just arrived at hotel, located on the main street for hotels - International Drive, some of the tourist attractions, shopping not too far away, Red Lobster Restaurant across the street, IHOP next door, 7 - 11 mini mart across the street and Congo River Mini Golf adventure directly next door - complete with annoying African theme music playing loud enough to heard on the 16th floor. Nothing wrong with the themed music, just the volume at 10:30 at night, not what I want to hear mixed with the street noise below.

As you drive in off I - Drive the entrance to the hotel is not clearly marked on the road, careful because traffic can be heavy.

My room 1069 is facing International Drive. I am going to give it one night before asking for a change to the other side of the round hotel (see hotel images) .

It is 10:15 at night and traffic is still running fairly heavy and the street noise is still fairly loud.
The only way to drown out that noise is to turn on the air conditioning unit fixed to the wall underneath the window. (Really not so bad, but it is loud when it is running)

The roller shade in my room is broken and I cannot lower the blind to make the room dark.

The room is clean and beds appear to be clean and tidy as well. The bathroom also appeared clean and tidy. Carpets look clean and furnishing also look well kept and clean. The Phillips flat screen TV appears to be nice and new as well.

My room is located next to the elevator hallway entrance. Hopefully it will not be too noisy with people in and out all evening.

Over all so far it appears to be a nice place. Nothing special to write home about but it will do nicely for the few nights I am here. Staff is nice at the front desk.

Wi Fi is free.
