Fairly updated rooms. Cleanliness issues, bathroom was not clean upon check in. Was cleaned properly the next day. Bed skirt was stained and never changed during entire stay (8 nights) even after I complained. Was mistakenly charged for parking but this error was rectified quickly. Nice pool area but no jacuzzi, they filled it in with dirt to make some sort of flower bed. Better than average gym. Location is right outside of the downtown business district so you have to walk under a filthy overpass that reeks of urine, many homeless weirdos in area.

We stayed at the Sheraton becuase we had tickets to a show at the Bob Carr PAC which is across the street. The Amway Center is also across the street so this hotel is ideal for anyone attending an event at either of those venues. The staff could NOT be friendlier or more competent. We were checked in within 3 minutes of our arrival. As stated in other reviews, the bed could be just a bit softer and the lights in the bathroom a bit brighter but neither of these minor details would keep us from staying here again. We had a late lunch in the sports bar in the lobby and the wait staff there is delightful-friendly, funny, and eager to please. While we were having a drink the hotel manager came in to speak with the bartender but upon seeing us at the bar, he immediately came over to ask if all was well with our stay. It is ano more expensive than most hotel restaurants and the food was quite good. we are attending another event at the PAC in April and will definitely stay at the Sheraton again.

Good location and the lobby is decorated beautifully. Room is more than large enough and bed is fairly comfortable (a little too hard for my likings). I love how they incorporated a Sportsbar downstairs in the lobby section of the hotel. The food is very good! Not your typical bland "hotel food." The staff was also very friendly.

However, I do not think it is worth staying here considering the price. There was not a refrigerator in the room which I feel should be a necessity considering you are paying nearly $200/night. The lighting is also horrible in the bathroom. I wouldn't care about the lighting if I were a guy, but putting on makeup in a dim room can be somewhat challenging. Also, there is not a fan in the bathroom which is disgusting - bathrooms need ventilation for obvious reasons. I also didn't like how it was mandatory valet parking - I would like it much better if that were an option but I suppose it is the Sheraton and that's probably expected out of most guests.

I was here for a business meeting. The hotel is in a terrible location with no restaurants nearby. You can walk approx 1/2 to get food, but at your own risk. The hotel staff recommend you take their shuttle or call a cab due to safety concerns. Hotel rooms are small and out of date.
