Stayed over autumn half-term for just one night due to Continental messing up our flights and us having to fly a day early. Outside of hotel looked okay if a little run down and shabby - in real need of some paint and a clean. Inside was even more tired and shabby - desk staff weren't exactly friendly and welcoming, but to be fair weren't exactly rude either. Bedrooms were dirty and the bed covers had holes in them - I dread to think how old the bed sheets were.
Worst was the breakfast. It is a self-service affair in the hotel lobby - seating for 16 people in a hotel that probably has a capacity of over 300 (I'm guessing somewhat here). There were queues for the few seats available. Breakfast was toast, fruit, pastry and cereal, which sounds okay on the face of it, but it was all very low quality stuff and only just about edible. I'm not sure who the person running the breakfast was, but she was pretty miserable and uncommunicative.
Looked at the pool, but it looked like it could do with a good clean, so stayed well clear.
5 minute walk to International Drive, and plenty of places to eat there - albeit mostly deep fried junk.
Our only saving grace was that we only had one night in the place.
