This is my first review of a hotel and I wish that someone had written this for me and my family. My family of 6 (grown children) spent one night at this hotel. We booked the non-smoking floor, but when I opened the door to my room the next morning - the hall reeked of cigarette smoke. In addition, our non-smoking room had cigarette burns on the bathroom counter. As we walked to the lobby for breakfast, the man walking behind me and my daughter-in-law (6 mo. pregnant) hid the cigarette in his hand when he heard us talking about the awful smell. At breakfast, the woman in front of my son took 6 bananas from the basket and left one. Courtesy in the line was non-existant - if someone wanted something, they just stepped in front of you! It was so frustrating that we just gave up. The staff at the desk was very courteous and gave us a $50 credit - as well as the woman in front of me. She said their only recourse was to charge them extra - if they only knew who "they" was. I also told her that the towels I called for at 9pm the night before never came. We now laugh at how awful this experience was, but this place truly smears the reputation of Comfort Inn - stay away!

This newly-renovated property is situated close to I-4 but is extremely quiet -- we heard no road noise whatsoever. The parking lot was brightly lit and we felt secure. As of our stay, the hotel was still "freshening up" from a major renovation, so there were a few -- very few -- minor annoyances as to smells, dust, etc. HOWEVER, the staff is extremely caring and efficient, and quick to correct any problems. The well-appointed lobby and spacious dining area for the hot breakfast were nice touches. We've stayed in places that were nowhere near as nice, for four times the price.

I had a wonderful stay. The night auditor that checked me in even remembered me the next morning when I came down for breakfast. Everyone I encountered was super nice a definite disney experience. They gave great directions to disney and other theme parks. Convenient for my work And close enough to be able to have fun too!

I recently had business in Winter Park Fl and needed a room for the night. Driving down I-4 I spotted a sign that advertised rooms for 39.99 a night. I pulled into the Comfort Inn and inquired about a 39.99 room. The front desk clerk said it was not their sign but that of the hotel next door. When I asked the price she replied that it was 59.95. I was about to go when she said that since I was there she would lower the price to 49.95 and that included breakfast. It was late and I agreed. Now this hotel apparently had undergone renovations. When i got to my room I was amazed. I am used to Vegas. This room was huge. Fabulous king size bed with premium mattress and linens. Coffee maker, refrigerator and ironing board with iron. But most importantly every employee I encountered was pleasant. Now I know the hospitality industry in hurting, especially in Florida, but these people were most gracious. Most of them were of Latin descent but there English was excellent. I will return in the future
