I have to admit off the bat I was a little skeptical about staying at a Holiday Inn hotel, but I was very surprised and impressed by The Castle! My boyfriend and I were only staying for one night on business, but wanted to use the weekend as an excuse for a little fun and romance, the castle was the perfect place spot! After being thoroughly disappointed with a recent stay at another hotel in near by a few weeks prior I decided to do a little more research and am glad I did! We arrived late and the front desk staff was very accommodating. We were welcomed by birds chirping in the entrance, cold iced tea and even allowed to upgrade at no cost for late check out the next day! Once we arrived in the room I knew we had made the right choice. The standard double queen bed room as very spacious and even had a cute little nook with a view of the pool area. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the hotel it self. Very private, quiet and overall a lovely romantic weekend. I was so impressed that this coming Presidents Day weekend I tried to book a 3 night stay, but unfortunately there were no rooms available. I highly recommend this for any couple or family who wants a great and affordable hotel near all the major attractions!
