I stayed there for about a week in December 2008. The location was pretty conveint seeing as everything you would possibily need is a walk away. My first impression of the hotel is that the outside was welcoming so I could only assume the inside of the room was the same. The room I got was a bit moldy and it looked like no one had stayed in that room for a while but it was workable and you could see that with the right fixtures it could have the possibilty of being a very nice and cozy room. Everything in the room worked fine except the a/c was a bit too cold, so either you kept it on cold or turn it off. Other than that the hotel was very quiet, nobody around really to bother you. I didnt feel quite safe but altogether my stay there was nice.

The room was very spacious with two queen-size beds, a nice bathroom, a sitting area, a desk, and a balcony. It was also quiet and I did not hear noise from other rooms or the hallway. The internet connection was too high. I recommend the place.

We stayed there for a night and the place was horrible. You can get a better deal anywhere else for the same (or lesser) price. It used to be Howard Johnson, but they have dropped this hotel from their list.

Here's a list of things we found wrong
* Room stinks
* Dirty carpets
* Mold in bathroom
* Dirty tub
* Light doesn't work
* TV remote doesn't work
* No alarm clock in the room
* No heating iron, but there is a ironing board
* No coffee pot
* Smelly bed sheets
* Loose electrical socket (fire hazard??)
* Ice maker in lobby doesn't work
* Was itching in the morning (bed bugs or mosquito?)
** Best of all - the phone in the room had the word "Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort" ... hmmm I wonder if .....

If you think I made up this list, just ask to see a room before you sign up
