Initially the hotel seemed nice for the price point; the room had fairly modern furnishings and was clean. The non-smoking room did not smell as if smokers stayed there--always a plus!
We stayed for two nights and after a long day at the parks came back to find our room the same as we left it. No attempt at room service even though an envelope asks for room service tips!?! We had to ask for fresh towels and toliet paper.
The continental breakfast was a sad disaster. No milk, no coffee. Orange juice, two mini-muffins and a half loaf of white bread. When I attempted to take the two mini-muffins to my room I was told I couldn't leave the lobby. I was told it's hotel policy because they discourage food in the rooms (rooms supplied with refrigerators and microwaves).
A short time later my husband went back to the lobby for sugar and was offered more muffins and told by the clerk that she was hiding them because the customers kept taking them to the rooms. A terse conversation followed about continental breakfast being part of the room price.
The owners of this establishment need a refresher course in hospitality.
