Stayed here twice, in a studio and a standard room. Definitely worth upgrading, especially if you expect rain! The staff are friendly and helpful, housekeeping requests ALWAYS responded to and felt at home. Very close to Disney, 3 minutes to the highway, but as quite as you like. Not luxurious, but who spends time in the hotel in orlando anyway.....???

So if you have followed my reviews - I decided to go on a Marriott kick lately. The vista center courtyard on the other side (south side) of I-4 was good. This one - on palm parkway - not so much. Maybe I expected too much, but no fridge, no microwave, no wall thermostat, I was surprised. The pool and workout room were great. Nice flatscreens in the rooms too. Had brought half a pizza to room expecting to eat later on at night, no microwave and no fridge. *And yes I looked in dresser.* the towels were clean but had that burnt rubber smell to them lile they were dried with ruber backed mats or something (not sure how to describe but i bet some of you know exactly what i mean ) The room wasn't bad by any means, but the bathroom was that of a $49 a night days inn, and felt like I was on irlo bronson, not palm parkway. With as many options in a 1 mile radius, won't stay again. The vista center marriott courtyard on the south side of I-4, and Hampton on palm parkway (both within a mile away) blow it away. Nothing bad, just not as good as the others. We were in room 181.

Stayed here with a large group in town for a soccer tournament over New Years weekend. Everything was great from check in to check out. We decided to upgrade to a suite last minute. The front desk staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We requested extra items for the room (towels, coffee etc.) on several occassions and received them promptly. Our room was close to a main hallway. On our first night we were able to hear people running back and forth. We alleviated that problem by running the fan to drown out the noise. That worked great for the rest of our stay. Parking was plentiful. We did not use the pool but it looked clean and inviting. The price was reasonable for the type of room we had, especially being only 5 minutes from Downtown Disney. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed 3 nights (Dec 2011) here. It was really a great experience. We loved the hotel view, style, guest rooms, swimming pool & hot pool. Full buffet breakfast at $10/person was very nice. In-hotel service to buy ticket for Disney Park, and free shuttle service from hotel to Disney pary were very helpful. Front desk service was excellent. Guest room was very clean. We enjoyed every bit of our time in this hotel. Price was very affordable.
