I trusted some other site reviews about this hotel and I had a huge disappointment: the hotel was WAY below its rate on any web site. My mistake was not checking into tripadvisor's reviews before I booked the hotel. I only stayed one night than I decided to loose the money I had spent on this hotel and take my wife to another hotel. Honestly, it was a scary place. The room seemed like it belonged to a poor and dangerous neighborhood. I would NOT recommend it to anyone.

Bad area, unsavory characters hanging around parking lot, reservation said it included 2 continental breakfasts for each room (we had 2 rooms), no breakfast found when we checked out but I wouldn't have eaten their food anyway! Yes there is a Security Guard but just drive up and say "I have a room here" and he lets you in! Went to check out the next morning before 8:00 AM and the office was closed! Doesn't open until 9:00 AM! Had to give my key cards to the guard, ofcourse he couldn't/didn't give me a receipt. The rooms SMELLED OF MOLD! There was green mold on the drawer handles, bed bugs, wet something on the tv remote and all the furniture had a film on it. It wasn't 3AM and we were all exhausted, I wouldn't have stayed! Plus they already had my money!

Off the beaten path. Older extended stay (type) motel. Three stories with elevator. Has security guard 24 hrs. Staff was polite. King size room. Old tv with remote that did include HBO. Room was extremely cold on entering...AC worked great. Room equipped with small kitchenette to include a microwave, small fridge and electric stove top. No pans and very select amount of dishes. Shower only and was very small. Never had lack of hot water. Room old and very outdated. Cleaner than some off-brand places I have stayed, but not clean enough where I would let kids play on floors. Several shopping options within a couple of blocks..ie: K Mart, Publix, Target. Took me about 10 minutes to drive to Universal Studios on a Thursday morning around 8am. My only complaint would be that i was placed in a room next to someone who lives there and they had their tv on full blast until 3am. Room not very sound proof. Wifii free, but was slow. This motel is ok if you are looking to save monies and don't need a 5 star accommodation. I traveled alone as a female and felt safe here.

I have been here for about 4 months. I have found since I have been here that the staff is very rude. Don't even ask for toilet paper. My room was cleaned yesterday but I wasn't left any toilet paper. I went to the office about 9:30 and was told housekeeping wouldn't be in until after 11:00 and they had to "check" the room. All this for a roll of toilet paper.

Don't bring your family here. The hotel is in a bad area with a lot of drug dealers and prostitutes. I would recommend going farther south on Orange Blossom Trail if you are looking to stay and you have a family. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. You definitely get what you pay for.
