There are some updates that need to be made here. Walls are pretty banged up. A lot of scuff marks, gouges. Stains on the furniture. The beds were very comfortable, pillows too. Soft comfy sheets. Loud air conditioning. Nice little breakfast served in am. It's okay for a one night stay. Staff was very nice.

Stayed at the hotel before going to Cancun. Did the park and fly. Free schuttle to the airport. Easy to get to the hotel. Many restaurants within walking distance. Will stay again. A little pricey but a nice hotel!

The hotel is everything the other reviewers describe, and the basis for which we booked there. Despite the tolls, we made a special trip out there on the morning of our stay to request that our 2 rooms be adjoining. Lisa kindly spent considerable time finding us exactly what she wanted and cheerfully assured us that they were reserved for us. We were very pleased, and told to return around 4:00 p.m. to check in, which we did. MUCH to our dismay, a different person was on duty, who was dismissive, and adamant that the rooms we were promised were neither reserved or available!?! No amount of protest would convince him otherwise, and we were helpless but to accept alternate regular rooms. They were okay, but we felt frustrated and disillusioned that our efforts earlier in the day had been a total waste of time. The next morning, Lisa was again on duty and incensed to learn that we hadn't been given the rooms for which she'd also spent time and trouble. She even produced a print out of the hotel's room roster, which clearly indicated our names beside the rooms she'd reserved. WHY they were denied to us remains an irksome mystery...

First and foremost the bed (extremely comfortable) and made the stay most memorable. My rooms air conditioning would only put out heat but because of the month it was tolerable. They offered to move me to another room but, honestly, I didn't want to leave that bed. My friend 2 floors down had a different problem but was happy with the hotels timely resolve. I normally stay at the Wingate for the hot tub and breakfast, which didn't disappoint. The front desk seemed a little irrated at check in and out but remained respectable ( a courteous smile goes along way.) If in Orlando overnight again I will stay again if possible.
