Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. i would recommend this hotel. Will return. the rooms were very spacious, clean and loved the jacuzzi in the room!

go to steakhouse ur hotel gives u a 50% disount from 5-7pm lunch and the foood is great

We enjoyed staying at the resort...it was central to all the parks. Loved it by Sand Lake. In addition it had good security, property is well maintained and room was very clean.
We arrived at 10:00 am, went for breakfast and at noon we were able to check in.

Being a Disney annual pass holder for years I've stayed at over 100 orlando hotels over the past 10 years. This was the worst service I've ever experienced. I booked a room on a major travel site as a secret deal. When I arrived it was pouring rain so i parked under the two lane overhang to check in. As I entered I was told I had to park out in the rain to check in. I wasn't happy but, whatever i needed to finish some work online and get some rest. However, when I gave the clerk my name, I was told I didn't have a reservation and I needed a printed reservation confirmation. I called the website and had the confirmation faxed to them. After 45 mins. and my wife and two disabled children were rained on, I thought I had a room. I couldn't believe it! They sent us to the next counter, where we were told breakfast was only free if we went to a timeshare sales presentation for 1-3 hours!!!! Needless to say we didn't eat breakfast there.

After reading some not-so-glowing reviews, I was a bit worried about what I would find at Westgate Lakes. My worries were for nothing. It was a wonderful experience. My check in took minutes, Miguel and Sergio were great, there was no pressure to attend the timeshare presentation (probably because my husband was not along), we got to use the owner's amenities for no charge - (owners bbq was a hoot!) discount on spa services (a little overpriced), no charge for marina, mini golf, etc. Personnel were very nice, accommodating. Studio apt. was clean, well-stocked and we had a wonderful view of the lake. The other vacationers were friendly and respectfully quiet. Only one warning to potential vacationers, the studio really can't accommodate more than 2 people comfortably. Other than that, my daughter and I had a spectacular time and would return.
