Soft beds. Good free hot breakfast. Staff is nice. Decent value.

This hotel overbooked us. It was December 26, 2011. I got a great deal on this hotel and I get there and they tell me that they are sending me to another hotel. I feel like I was sent off to another hotel because I paid only $25.00 for the night. I asked if the other hotel they were sending me to was nice and she told me, "Of course, it's a resort." First of all, it's a resort that used to be a Ramada and what a joke that place was! I will not book with Ramada Inn Convention Center again because of this.

I was a guest from 01/01/2012 to 01/05/12, the worst customer service at the front desk, The hotel was suppossed to charge $336,60 but they charged on my credit card $536,40 , with out expplanation, I am still waiting for an answer, I am calling to "customer care" several times wit no answer yet, they say I am suppossed to receive an answer no later than january 19/2012 , if you want to be treated like you are the worst person in the world this is the right place for you, because the people in the front desk think you are a miserable person or not even a person, because they are the people behind the desk they think they have the power to do anything they want, no manager available at any time to escalate my concerns.
Be smart don't pick this hotel, I had a good concept because I use this chain for my people at different locations but from now on I will never will go back to Ramada at any locationor any more.

After reading some ofthe reviews for this property, we expected more than a moldy room.

We booked 2 rooms for one night (early January) through a popular discount websitesite and did not pay much for the 2 rooms. We called in advanced and asked for connecting or side by side rooms.

The property was located in an area with many shops and restaurants. It was actually quite easy to get to. The porperty backed onto a busy highway at one end. When we arrived, the exterior of the building was nice. Check in was fast and efficient. I was told that they were fully booked but they did give us side by side rooms (304 and 306). Floors 1 and 2 had exterior access while the 3rd floor had an interior hallway.

We made our way through a dingy yellow hallway and past a wet squishy area of carpet under a large air ducting and on to the rooms. The adults took room 304 and the kids went into room 306. Both rooms seemed dirty and well aged. We first noticed that the windows were single pane and we could hear the busy highway as if we were outside. We turned on the air conditioner and the musty smell started.

One of ous walked into the bathroom and noticed the black grout in front of the toilet, rust and a rainbow of colors behind the toilet, red mold on top of the door frame, and large patches of mold all over the bathroom ceiling? Does housekeeping not see this every day when they clean the rooms? I have included some of the pictures taken.

The beds and pillows were OK. Room had a fridge/freezer, and microwave however both appliances shared a cord and that cord was improperly spliced with an new end and was a fire hazard.

We made it through the night hearing the traffic and smelling the musty air conditioner. We checked out quickly the next morning and vowed never to return. We have stayed in many hotels from 1 to 5 stars and this one was by far the worst. Maybe it was because they were full and we were given the worst of the worst but it is all we have to judge this hotel on.
