“wonderful stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

we have been here in august 2010, the hotel is clean and the rooms are verry spacious,we had a two bedroom junior suite with bathroom and kitchen.
The service at the frontdesk is friendly, the room was cleaned every day.
We had breakfast included in the price but that was not good
We prepared our breakfast in our room,,There was a shop a few meters from the hotel where you could buy everything.
We would come back again.

“great rate”

We stayed October 2011 for a week here. The 1st room smelled really bad it was like old curry we moved across the hall and and the room smelled much better. One thing to beware of is at check in they charge a $25 per night deposit for room service.and it is not negoiatable. They do return it on check out. They also mis-placed my scooter at check in. Once checked in and getting through that the room was really reasonable we paid only $80 a night for a one bedroom (AAA rate) pool was nice breakfast ok but crowded. Found scary charecter one night peering in cars and took off to bushes by high-way when we drove by. I would most likely not stay here again but if you are trying to save some money and have abig family it is an adequate place to stay. 2nd room was clean and spacious good channels on tv full kitchen no oven location was great.

“Low quality”

Even though the room was spacious, it was dirty, mold in the shower, hairs in the tub, and the air conditioner was not working correctly. We had to call in order to have it fixed. In our experience, the hotel was not up to the Marriot standards. We'll never come back again. The breakfast buffet was not extraordinary, but it wasn't that bad compared to the room.

“As usual from a Residence Inn: complete like a small appartment”

This is the second time I spent some days with the family while travelling to Orlando. I usually stay at one of Disney's Resort the days I visit those parks and then change to this Hotel to see Sea World (less than 2 miles away) and both Universal Parks a short drive North. As any Residence Inn I´ve been each suite is well equipped with place for up to 6 persons sleeping in 3 queen size beds. Full kitchen (but without an oven unfortunatelly). Enough parking lots and luggage cars to carry them on your own to your room. Thats Residence Inn's usual way, if you don't need a bellboy helping you to do all, your right here. If you travell with family and kids and need some place where you can prepare something quick and easy to eat before or after the parks, this is the right place. I definetly will come back when I visit Orlando.

Room Tip: Over the West side is a highway, better choose the East side it´s more quite.

“Great hotel if you are visiting a theme park.”

My wife and I spent three nights here while attending a conference in the area. We have stayed in quite a few Residence Inn properties around the US. This property is located literally around the corner from Sea World.

Because this property is adjacent to the Orlando area theme parks, it caters primarily to vacationers and families traveling with children. If you are on business and this bothers you, you might want to find one of the area conference hotels instead. The facilities and rooms are very clean and the staff very friendly. The garden areas have nice tables, some with gas grills, located in the space around the main pool. These delightful areas allow you to have a cook out or simply enjoy the marvelous weather Florida has to offer. The pool is very decorative and has several fountains that empty into the pool itself.

The breakfast area is very large for a Residence inn. It offers a large hot breakfast service along with all the standard pastries and cereals found at most of these outlets. It is very busy, but we never had a problem finding a seat. There is also a cabana bar and grill serving food and drinks and a Pizza Hut Express all adjacent to the pool area.

The rooms are large and spacious, but again if you are a business traveler you will notice that some of the amenities offered in most other Residence Inn properties are not offered here. No microwave popcorn, no manager's reception during week nights, no offer to do your grocery shopping and the rooms decor is very spartan. The fitness center is well equiped and is larger than most. There is a very large guest laundry facility and an adjacent game room stocked with several video games.

The free internet is decent but the bandwidth is not that great. I measured around 350K up and down. Okay for email and web browsing but not up to Skype or other high speed requirements.

There are grocery stores and restaurants all within a 3 mile radius. Overall I had a pleasant and comforrable visit and would stay here again.

Room Tip: You might want to ask for a room that does not face the I-4 interstate highway.
