“Everything was to my surprise”

Stayed at the hotel just to check it out. I live close to the area but sometimes its good to get away from home.

The stay included me and my girlfriend, we got a king suite. The suite was spacious. The staff was very friendly, "Chilli" was impressive, gave us a speedy check-in and gave us good directions. She seemed very layed back yet professional. Not pushy but willing to answer any of our questions. We used the free business center in the lobby to get directions to a resturant. Also for the heck of it we took a little jog in the gym. The gym didnt have any weights but its understandable, who would want to be in pain on their vacation? After that we checked out the hot tub it was so warm and clean it made us regret not bringing swimming attire.

Back to the room, it had a hot tub that was confortable and worked like a charm. The bed was clean and neatly organized. Coffee machine made one cup at a time, that was so awesome. Flat screen tv, i felt at home.

Too much to say in one review. I just know i will be back. Me and the girlfriend were looking for a hotel to get away from the stresses of everyday life, and we found it. I will be back and i will recommend this to all of my friends.

“Below our expectations”

My husband and I have become regular customers of Sleep Inns (and other Choice properties) because of our positive experiences and the free breakfasts, so we were expecting a similar good experience at this location. It was not to be. The tipoff to us should have been that there were very few guests while we were there at Thanksgiving time which is usually a very busy time in Orlando. We found the desk clerk eating a hamburger in the lobby while his friend was using the guest computer to visit on Facebook. The breakfast was minimal compared with other Sleep Inn locations, and included no hot food (such as the waffles or biscuits and gravy served at other Sleep Inns.) But the worst experience was the giant roach we discovered in our shower. Floridians seem to discount these critters and call them "Palmetto Bugs." But a roach by any other name is still a roach. We also discovered that only the suites in this building come with microwaves and refrigerators - another difference from other locations. Were we to return to Orlando, we would choose another airport hotel.

Room Tip: If you want a microwave and refrigerator, be sure to reserve a suite.

“next time we will spend the extra money...”

We booked Sleep Inn because of the discount of Mikes Shuttle Service. I talked to mike about a month before our trip and set up a deal with him for transport to the port. We cancelled our booking at the Holiday Inn Castle because we were saving money with Mike and the Sleep Inn.
When we got to the hotel the staff was super friendly and I feel like they do their best to make up with what is lacking EVERYWHERE else. The room smelled really musty. Probably because its humid but the windows didnt open so no air was circulating. This gave a sweaty feel to the sheets. Yuck!
The pool and hot tub were fun. They are super laid back at this hotel and we took our rum and coke into the hot tub and no one said a thing.
We called Mike and confirmed our shuttles with him. He had not written down our deal correctly and we spent a heated few minutes discussing our original plan. I did not like that he made me feel like I was trying to cheat him out of money. After we got everything settled, he stuck to his original deal and was pleasant after that (my husband did the communicating however) His drivers are all amazing people and we really appreciate them.
If you do stay here, do yourself a favor and eat at fish on fire down the road. Awesome music, catfish, and drinks. Ryan the waiter is awesome.
I never got over the smell or sheets or the fact a few things were falling out of the walls. I like the retro feel to things but only if its clean : (

“"Saw the good side..."”

Our experience was very positive, and made me wonder how some other reviewers received shabby treatment. My wife and I stayed at Sleep Inn for 3 days prior to taking a cruise from Port Canaveral. The hotel appeared to be lightly staffed, but the staff we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious for the price paid, and was clean and comfortable. It is situated on a busy thoroughfare, but is unusually quiet inside-- more so on the backside rather than facing the street. There are no decent eating establishments immediately adjacent to the hotel, so a car is required. The free breakfast was one of the most well organized we have seen, but is largely cereals, pastry, yoghurt, juices, etc --no hot dishes. On the plus side, there is a large mall and restaurants within a mile,
free shuttle to airport (a shuttle service is located at the hotel, so connections to cruise port
was easy), and our room had a mini-refrigerator. We would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Rooms away from street are quieter.

“Sleep inn, that's all you can do.”

This hotel is average. You'll find comfortable beds, however, the room is really small.
It desperately need an upgrade. It looks kind of old and worn out.
We stayed there for 3 nights, from friday to monday. They offer you free parking and breakfast, that is cereal, bread and yoghurt mainly.
Me had problems with our bathroom, because the doorknob fell from the door, so you couldn't close the door. We call front desk, but they didn't do anything to fix that because it was sunday morning.
Not a great hotel, but you can use it to sleep only, don't stay in the room for a longer period of time.
