“Great price, great location”

I stayed here for 2 nights for a trade show. For the price and location, it was perfect. It's 3 minutes to the convention ctr, and across the street to Denny's, IHop, Walgreens and very close to plenty of restaurants.

I forgot my personal pillow in the room, called the hotel when I got home. Loretta (I can't say enough good things about her level of service) promptly tracked it down from housekeeping, called me back and offered to mail it home to me.

It's a nice little hotel. The WiFi was great, and the shower pressure was good and hot. There's a nice work station that is comfortable and the bed spread etc was pretty new.

The room DID NOT SMELL. Many older, and inexpensive hotels stink of room freshener but this place did not which was nice.

I also requested an adjoining room with my friend which they also had ready for us.

Room Tip: As a female traveling, I always ask for a 2nd floor room.

“Good location but rooms need a thorough cleaning”

Although this hotel is convenient to the Orange County Convention Center, I think you may be able to do a lot better at another hotel. The rooms just aren't clean. I think in the future I would rather pay a little bit more for a room and rest comfortably instead of being leery about touching anything in the room. Beings we were only staying one night, I didn't even bother to shower at the hotel. I decided to wait until I got home where I knew the towels would be fresh and the shower was clean.

“If You Are On Your Dime, Then Why Pay More”

I attended a business conference held at the Peabody Hotel in Orlando and chose to stay at the Red Roof Inn, just a short walk away. I stayed for four nights for what I would have just about paid for one night's lodging at the Peabody. My room had a king- sized comfortable bed and a decent sized desk. The room was mostly clean and functional. My only complaint was that the carpet was never vacuumed. I pointed this out to the front desk manager at the conclusion of my stay. If you are in town on business or pleasure and just want a no frills room for sleeping purposes, then you will not go wrong by staying here. There are car rental facilities in two adjacent hotels. Also, some decent and unique restaurants are in walking distance on nearby International Drive.

Hi,stayed here for 13 nights over the New Year holidays, the place was not what we expected, the rooms are far to small for three adults, not their fault,Travelrepublic should not let a booking for more than 2 adults per room go through, but thats another story! The Inn is perfect for a short stay, good location, clean, comfortable, great pool, hot tub, coffee and news papers in reception and best of all Amanda, she is the loveliest receptionist ever! She will go that extra mile for the guests, she certainly did for us.Thankyou again Amanda.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a microwave and fridge.

“Decent, good location, great staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

First off.. the night manager "Joey"... GREAT guy! Due to Google maps being wrong, we arrived WAY too early. At 5:30am, dead tired... Joey saw how beat we were and since our room was already ready (unused, really), he let us have a super early check in. Bless 'em, cause otherwise we'd have just slept in the lot until a later check in time. That great service.

Unfortunately, I can't say such great things about housekeeping. They missed some urine drips on the toilet bowl (meaning they never cleaned it!!), and it looked suspiciously like the never changed the sheets. The rest of the room looked OK though. If this property doesn't kick some butts in the housekeeping Dept and get them on the ball, this property will slide to the cruddy side very quickly.

Other than that issue, I guess I would recommend this motel. Try NOT to get a room on the side facing the hotel/convention center, since the CONSTANT traffic ( from fork lifts to busses) will wake you up early.

Also, this location is good for getting to anything in the Orlando area. Nearby food choices are good, and a Walgreens (all within walking distance) makes things even better.

Room Tip: Do not get a room on the side facing the hotel/convention center next door... noisy in the early A...
