We stayed here while visiting the Harry Potter World attraction at Universal which is very close by. It is on a nice quiet loop of a road with other hotels and and a TGIFs across the main road from the entrance to Universal. It was very nice for the price we paid. Breakfast, in-room fridge and microwave.

I stayed at this location on a Friday and Saturday night in January. The location is right around the corner from Universal Studios and relatively close to all of the other parks as well. The room was clean and comfortable and has a microwave and mini fridge which is always nice to have.

Spent two nights the week following Christmas. In Orlando, this is one of the blackout periods for the theme parks. A large number of the hotels raise their rates as well. The higher rates applied in this case (roughly double) so the value was somewhat diminished. Under normal circumstances, it would be a reasonably good budget hotel with a convenient location. The staff was friendly. The breakfast bar was fairly limited and wasn't kept stocked as it should be. The rooms were reasonably clean. There is a good selection of restaurants close by. The biggest selling points that will make me consider for future visits are that they are pet friendly and their location close to the Universal theme parks.

We were staying one night before going to Universal Studios. The room was clean. As others have mentioned, the beds were hard. The hotel has had some "updates," but they cut corners on this remodel, i.e. the bathroom door should have been replaced. I stay frequently at LQ's. In my opinion, some of the new ones are excellent; some of the older style ones are not so good. This is a middle of the road one...not excellent, but okay. If you just need a clean cheap place for a night, then this is okay.
