Thank you for the beautiful pictures you shared with fellow travelers and for your review. We like to hear that our hotel is so close to the Disney Resort entrance, I-4 at exit 68, SeaWorld, Universal Studios and too many restaurants to mention. We are happy to hear you will stay with us again on a future trip to the Orlando Lake Buena Vista area for enjoyment of the local attractions.

“Beautiful renovation, but a little rough around the edges”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012 via mobile

My family and I stayed in one of the "Family suites" recently. These rooms truly are a value, as they have a set of bunk beds with tv partitioned off from the main room. My daughter loved it, and the room was very clean, although housekeeping would often not come until late in the afternoon.
The hotel was recently renovated, and it is a beautiful, modern facility. I feel, however, that the facelift was in many ways cosmetic only. The air conditioning unit in this room was the loudest I have ever experienced. It was like a jet engine starting up whenever it cycled on. You had to yell to talk to each other, and forget about watching tv when the air was on. It got to the point where we only used it when the room became uncomfortably warm. I don't know what we would have done if it were the middle of summer.
The hotel is also very noisy. I do not mean guest noise- more of an ambient noise that is constant....lots of beeping, fans turning on, and alarms. We joked that it was almost like staying in a hospital ICU.
There is a continental breakfast, but I didn't take advantage of it after we had a moldy biscuit our first morning.
Overall, it was a good stay. Stacey at the front desk was one of the most helpful people I have encountered at any hotel. We would definitely stay again, and hopefully some of the kinks will have been resolved.

The family suites you mention have received excellent feedback, especially about the Sony PS3 gaming system and the bunk beds in the kid’s area of every one of these suites. For those guests who choose a standard room, whirlpool suite or 1 bedroom suite, we also have four PS3’s and also an Xbox 360 Kinect in the complimentary game room. We thank you for your review of our beautiful newly renovated hotel.

“Fantastic Stay”

Wanted to find an inexpensive hotel close to Disney for the WDW Marathon Weekend. This was perfect! It's close to Disney (Near Downtown Disney entrance), newly renovated, they have nice suites, comfy mattresses, 2 video game rooms, convenient location for restaurants, drug stores, etc, great customer service at the front desk, and best of all a fabulous free full breakfast. This was perfect for us considering we've stayed at WDW resorts a million times and just wanted something simple and easy. This was absolutely a great choice!

“Good choice for a stay near Disney”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2012

We needed a room for one night near Disney but being the holiday season many hotels had higher rates. I viewed the Fairfield Inn's reviews and their website and decided to book my reservation online. Our check-in was easy and our room was ready quite early in the day, so we were lucky. We were able to drop off our luggage, look around quickly, then head out. Although there were people around it was really quite quiet.

We returned later in the day and had no problem with parking. The front desk was getting busy yet the young lady made a point to help me with my market purchase quickly so I did not have to wait. Our room was really nice, the staff were all helpful. Our only issue, and it was to be expected, was the crowd at breakfast the next morning. There were no available places to sit, but after waiting a bit some became available. The young woman stocking the food items was working non-stop and I was amazed at how much she accomplished!! All food items were replenished quickly, and this place was packed!!!

I would definitely stay here again. I thought it was a good value for the money and was satisfied with the room, the cleanliness, the facilities, and the staff.

Room Tip: Ask to bee away from the road.

Our breakfast is extremely popular and can be very crowded at peak times. Some guests utilize overflow seating outside the building in the front, in the lobby and even in the game/home theater rooms. Our breakfast attendants are very hard working and dedicated to keeping this operation running smoothly. Our management team enjoys taking turns helping during peak hours as well. This can often be one of the most fun and rewarding parts of my day. We are glad to hear we provide a good value for the money. Thank you for your review and your business.

“Great hotel”

This hotel was pleasantly surprising in many ways. The hotel was definitely newer and had added extras our 7 & 9 year old loved. There is a video game room with xbox connect and a kid movie room that made them feel like big kids. We had the room with bunk beds which alleviated a lot of night time arguments. The hotel's pool was nicely heated unlike other hotels that claim to have heated pools.

The hotel is close enough to WDW that we took a $10 cab ride to Downtown Disney for NYE. We are fairly choosey about hotels and would stay here again. The staff were very nice and very accomodating.

The heated pool you mention has been very popular with the recent cool weather. The family suites with their bunk beds and PlayStation 3 gaming systems are very popular with the younger travelers. The complimentary PS3 games we lend out for PS3’s in the family suites as well as the game room are a great benefit to families with members who are gamers. The theater room with two Blu-ray players is a nice way to relax after a long day at the theme parks. The complimentary game room offers four of the PlayStation 3’s and an X-Box Kinect gaming system, all with flat screen TV’s. We thank you for your review of our beautiful hotel and hope you visit the newest Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott hotel in Orlando when you return to the Disney area again in the future.
