I needed a place for New Year's Eve and every hotel in Orlando had either raised their prices or were booked so I ended up here. It was further out of the way than I prefer but I had to take what I could get. Following my nav system I made my way to the hotel and every block I was further dismayed. Traffic was TERRIBLE and it is a very commercial area (shopping). Finally I spotted the hotel and it was a 2 story style 'motel' rather than the hotel i expected. I parked the car and entered and was totally surprised. The interior was very very nice, well maintained, clean and roomy. The desk clerk was quick and efficent discussing with me the availble rooms and their location. I picked a 2nd floor in the back and found it very nice. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and well equiped. It had a nice TV, microwave and small fridge. The room also came with free WiFi access. the free breakfast in the morning was very good with fresh fruit salad, hot and cold cerials, pastries, breads for toast, bagels, 2 waffle machines with batter for fresh waffles, cheese omelettes, sausage padies, juices, coffee, milk and fresh apples and bananas.
I was not crazy about the location otherwise I would rate it 5 stars (within it's category.. it is a medium priced hotel not a high end luxury hotel). It was only 10-15 minutes from the convention center, SeaWorld and Universal. It has a nice gym and pool. Overall a nice stay. If you are travelling with a group, the savings on breakfast alone increases it's value.
Room Tip: Its a courtyard style hotel with a pool in the middle, when I was there no one was using it but I sus...
