We exchanged as timeshare owners. I would rent here on a heartbeat. Villa are beautiful, clean & nicely decorated. No one bothers you with sales calls. This resort is huge with 9 sections; each os lovely. You can cook in, eat at many resort snack bars etc or eat out in numerous restaurants within a 3 mile radius. Close to Disneyworld north gate.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Vistana Villages Resort Villas, International Drive/Orlando. I stayed from Jan 21-25 in a 1 bedroom villa as I was attending a conference at the Orange County Convention Center. The location is good; it is 10 minutes to the convention center and only a few minutes to one of the outlet malls. The other outlet is about 20 minutes away but many of the main attractions are very close such as Disney, Sea World, etc...
There is a restaurant on the resort itself but I did not eat there. The main strip of restaurants on International Drive are about 10 minutes away by car.
As for the resort itself I was pleased on the cleanliness of my room and that parking is free at the resort. My villa was the furthest from the check in so anytime I needed to go to the main lobby for something I had to drive there. The only issues I had was that the "free internet" in my room was terrible and I could never connect. I was only able to get on once during my stay and I did lose the connection after 10 minutes. The other issue was taking a shower it took 2-3 minutes for the water to warm up.
Overall, I would recommend this resort to people and I look forward to coming back on vacation with the rest of my family. It is a great spot for families as it has a few pools and a full kitchen with washer and dryer.

This was our 3rd stay at the Sheraton Vistana Villages. The hotel could not be better located, and as far as having all the necessary creature comforts of vacation, this hotel is spot on.

We love the large pool(s). Our kids absolutely love the pirate ship pool. You could make a vacation staying on the property. The hotel has some great staff, who also run childrens activities like bingo and arts and crafts. Lots of fun stuff for young ones.

We like the nearby Publix grocery store. I don't know that we ever ate any of the hotel food. Plenty of capability to make our own food, and the right cookware, etc. Bring your own coffee filters! (it's just annoying buying 200 of them on a vacation) There is also a Walgreens just down the street. Also, with Disney and Sea World so nearby, the location is ideal.

This trip, we finally gave in and attended their 90 minute free breakfast, which pitches the time share ownership. If you are considering something like this, it will be worth your time. If you don't like mixing business with pleasure, I would suggest politely declining. In sales myself, I have never appreciated the pressure sale tactics, or the last minute 'oh there is one more thing, and one lower offer before you walk away' type stuff. So, come prepared.

The only things we didn't like about our stay were the sales pitch, the smell of the water (which I suppose is a Florida thing, not a Sheraton thing).

We found the staff to be very accommodating. We like the room and the generous layout of the 2 bedroom condo will be appreciated by any large family. We ended up extending our visit by one more night, as it was hard to leave the property.

We stayed here on our trip to Disney World. The place was clean and roomy. We stayed in the 2 bedroom in the St. Augustine building. We were very close to the pirate ship themed pool. There are two pools and one was a short walk. We were close to Disney(10-15 minutes away). There was a pull-out couch in the living room but it would not have been convenient to use. There is a washer/dryer in the room that was nice. Also, a whirlpool tub in the master bath which was great after a day of Disney. We opted to not have housekeeping services to save some $$ but wished we had. There is no good place to put your towels to dry and our son wet the bed on the first day.
