Just checked out of the hotel this morning after a three night stay for a conference. Originally booked due to the proximity to the convention center (covered walkway). However, after we arrived, we realized we still had to take a bus to the conference because it was located in the North Concourse, which is long hike from the hotel.

That aside, the hotel met our expectations. Katie checked us in upon arrival, and she was fantastic. We didn't use the pool or gym, but both looked wonderful. Enjoyed a few minutes at the fire pit last night, and it was very relaxing. Another guest there was enjoying a beer and smoking a cigar, and it made us pretty envious.

Only complaint... charge for daily internet was $15.00, which we consider to be unreasonable considering the hotel rooms aren't cheap, and the fact that the majority of the hotel guests were business travelers. Parking was also about $15 per night, but that is to be expected given the location.

Enjoyed breakfast at the Bistro. We ordered a la carte, which was a mistake... Ordering the breakfast buffet at $19.50 per person would have been a more economical option believe it or not. Breakfast items at the Marketplace were acceptable, and the atmosphere at David's Place was pleasant (great beer selection also).

Oh, and items at the hotel store were reasonably priced. Ended up getting cold symptoms during our stay, and purchased cough drops, a pocket pack of tissues and mints and the total cost was less than $5. A nice surprise considering I expected to pay at least double that amount for those items.

This was our first Hilton stay, and I must say I am looking forward to the opportunity to go back. We highly recommend this hotel.

I just returned from a conference at this hotel. I had a great time. I had access to the executive lounge. It was fantastic! Wonderful service. Rooms are modern, clean, and well stocked. Dinner at the steakhouse was great as well as the food at the conference. It was a little too cold for my kids to use the pools, but they looked like a lot of fun. Great location for all the parks. Staff is quite friendly, always smiling and saying hello. Gym/spa is very good.

So the fact that we keep going back speaks volumes. This is a nice, newer and clean Hilton with a fantastic pool area. We go for the weekend and don't leave the hotel - we hang out by the pool and float in the river all day. We have lunch and dinner at the pool bar/restaurant. The food is quite good - try the burger, the pizza (they make a special one for us with goat cheese, caramalized onions and balsamic vinegar drizzle) or the chicken fingers (real chicken trips, on the kids menu but adults can order). Food and drink prices are reasonable...and as for the room rate, if you're a Florida resident, there is a special rate (runs $100-$120). And at night, relax by the fire pit and get ice cream from the coffee shop inside.

Our trip was fantastic and the hotel was wonderful. Perhaps the best part of our trip was our server, Colin, by the pool. Thanks! You were hilarious and gave us some great tips about Orlando.
