“Great economical place to stay at Walt Disney World”

Traveling on a budget, this is the place. Any of the All -Star Resorts. This is like a motel with access to the rooms from the outside. Rooms are clean and functional. Two large pools. Cafateria style dining and good transportation to all of the parks. Why pay big bucks for a fancy room when you are at Disney. So much to see and do, you basically use the room to sleep or catch a quick nap.

“Room was dirty but Disney made it good.”

Our room was clean EXCEPT for sunflower seed shells on the floor and a tampon wrapper! When we checked out, we told the front desk about it but that everything else was fine. They only charged us for one of the two nights! We didn't ask for this and were pleasantly surprised!

“Cheap and good value with the free transportation offered”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

Our experience started as less than magical when we rang to reserve our 'Disney Magical Express' Airport Transfer. We were told that because we booked via Hotels.com we were not proper guests and were not eligible for the shuttle (even though it said we were eligible on the booking confirmation. The airport staff managed to rectify this problem quickly. The resort is motel style and if you book via another website expect to walk the furthest distance from the reception. Its a family resort so expect a lot of kids at the pool. Because its the cheapest of Disney Resorts it will be very busy even in offpeak. It is popular with large bus groups/ student groups that seem to take over the cafeteria and amenities at all meal times.

There is nowhere else to eat/drink in the area accept for the cafeteria that serves up the usual Disney fare at inflated prices. The advantage is the free transportation shuttle to all Disney parks available at the reception area. This is worth the price of the room on its own. Added to the free airport shuttle, this is probably the place to stay if you are not with kids and just want somewhere cheap to crash at night after you've done one of the Disney parks.

Room Tip: Ask for a room closer to the reception area, otherwise it can be a long walk.

“Very Pleasantly Surprised!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

We just returned from Disney and loved it! It was our first visit to the parks and we can't wait to go back!! We used the Magical Express from the airport and it was great! No waiting for our bags, just hopped on the shuttle and they took care of getting our bags from the airport and when we returned to our hotel after visiting Magic Kingdom for a bit our bags were waiting in our room for us!
Check in was great, they were very friendly and went over everything with us, if we ever had a question they were always happy to help at the front desk.
The hotel grounds were very beautiful and clean. Lots of trees and plants and plenty of sun-chairs for lounging. One thing we found out was the guitar pool at the front of the complex was not heated, but tucked in near the back of the hotel complex was the piano pool that was heated! We were in a preferred room and stayed in the "Calypso" block which was right near the front of the hotel...I would recommend this if you have trouble with walking as the All Star Music resort is very large and many of the blocks were quite a way back from the lobby/restaurant.
Our room was better than I thoughtit would be for a value hotel, VERY clean, well kept, lots of towels, etc and a flat screen tv. The beds were only double, but I found them comfortable. It was also very quiet....I hardly heard any outside noise at all.
The restaurant was good...plently of variety, we had the quick serve meal plan which helped, but bought breakfast everyday...average price was $25 for our family of 4. They also had refillable mugs that you could get and use to get free refills in the restaurant. They had a lot of activites to do by the pool and every night they played a Disney movie (of course!) outside by the pool which was a great way to wind down with the kids at the end of a busy day.
To get to the parks they had a shuttle bus service. It came regularly and I think the longest we waited was 10 min for a bus.
Overall it was great! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to do DIsney on a budget :)
