Our travel agent had unfortunately already booked and paid for this condo before we went on Tripadvisor and read all the poor reviews. We really did go to the hotel hoping for the best, however we weren't surprised that is was so terrible after reading all the reviews.

The rooms are really in need of an update and some sound proofing. We struggled to sleep at night as we were in a ground floor room and could hear the people above us stomping around all night. The whole condo really needed an update and especially new furniture. The springs in our couches were broken and we arrived to find a full ash tray of cigarettes on our balcony as the cleaners did a very poor job. It wasn't in the best position for visiting all the parks and as we are from Australia we had to use taxis to get to either Universal or Disney and to do our food shopping which cost us alot of money. In hindsight we should have paid more for a better hotel and the money we would have spent on taxis would have gone to this.
We definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is too old, the bedroom felt really dirty, the carpets where just disgusting we couldn't even walk con it without any shoes, curtains were all torn and ripped, also the bedroom felt really humid.
There was no cleaning service in the bedroom, they only changed the towels and didn't make up the beds or anything.
The little terrace had 2 chairs which were really unclean, and the sliding doors had to be locked with a kind of metal bar.
Finally the TV on the living room didn't had a remote, because the one provided didn't work it wasn't even the same brand.
We changed our reservation from a 20 dollars a night to this hotel which was 120 dollars and for sure the cheaper one would have been much more cleaner.

We stayed in a "luxury villa" with two bedrooms with en-suites upstairs. Bedroom 1 was very large with a double bed and bedroom 2 a little smaller with two singles. The main floor consists of a reasonably sized open area incorporating dining, living and kitchen. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The kitchen was supplied with the basics to be able to put meals together. The hotel is located about a mile from Sea world and 3-4 miles from the action on International drive. You do need a car to get around. The hotel offers a basic continental breakfast in the morning. Shopping is relatively nearby on the Central Florida Parkway just East of International Drive. My only major complaint is that the mattresses on the beds are extremely soft.

After reading the negative reviews about this place, I must say I thought twice about booking. However, we are a family of four with two small children (1 1/2 year old and 4 year old) and need a suite so that the kids can sleep while we enjoy mommy and daddy time after a long day at the parks. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The suite was just the right size consisting of a living area with a full kitchen and balcony and a separate bedroom with doors separating the two. The place was admittedly an older property, but renovations had been recently done and the bathrooms and kitchen were very nice and modern. Both the living area and the bedroom sported a brand new flat screen television with full free cable. The thing I liked most about staying here was the quietness of the place. It was mostly families and the staff was very helpful and kind. The only fallback which I must say is a pretty large negative is that the doors do not have a deadbolt on them and my 1 1/2 year old kept opening the door and walking outside. After we almost left because of this huge safety concern, the manager met us with some doorstops which we fastened around the door before bedding down for the night. Also, the "free breakfast" left a LOT to be desired, and if you are banking on their shuttle service, forget it-it leaves once in the morning and returns once at night. However, being that we live in FL and drove our car there and have free parking at Sea World, this was not an issue with us, but I can certainly see how it would be for a family without these accommodations. Overall, we liked this little hidden gem so much that we will be using them consistantly in the future. Did I mention it was only $55.00 a night???
