It's funny how all of the reviews are positive. Not even a neutral review? I'm guessing Bob deletes the ones he doesn't like.
BUYER BEWARE OF BAIT AND SWITCH.
I paid for a 3500 sq ft home and got a 2000 sq ft home. We had nine people. It was crowded. We measured and EVERY website that has pics of this home address lists it as 2000 sq ft too. EVEN after I questioned this BEFORE the vacation, Bob e-mailed that the house was indeed 3500 sq ft, which was a complete and utter lie.
Bob is a terrible manager and I don't know if anyone else works in his management office because no one EVER called me back after leaving messages for four (4) days.
I cannot believe Bob mentioned to booking.com that the office was closed for Christmas....hello bob....you run vacation homes and you rented them out for Christmas.
I was not only upset that the advertised 3500 sq ft home was barely 2000, but I was also upset because I requested they turn on the pool heat on Dec 24 and they did not turn it on until Dec 28. Ummmm......I checked out on the 29th, as all of you know.
It took more than 24 hours for the pool to warm up and we checked out on the 29th so it was USELESS!!! Free???? You claim I got pool heat free for 2 days? What did I get for free other than a headache?
I even made the request that they only have the heat going until the 28th since we were checking out very early on the 29th, and we had plans on the 28th that would not allow us to return to the home until midnight. Then they go and turn it on for the 28th???? Brilliant. Free too. Right.
Furthermore, I paid for a POOL HOME --- obviously extra -- more than one without a pool.....and could not use it.
I called the mgmt office for four days. No one ever called me back. I also called Bob, and when he never returned the call, I text him. After 24 hours, he text me back telling me to call the mgmt office again. I did this. No call back. Text Bob again, 24 more hours goes by, then another text from Bob saying he'll TRY to get a hold of THEM....another 24 hours....no call back....no pool heat.
Also, I don't know what they do to regarding the water (shower and sinks), but for five days we never had hot water. It was barely lukewarm. I could not wait to get home to take a hot shower. And keeping the house/room temp at 76 degrees! What is that all about? We were suffocating upstairs. It was terrible! And the minor issues....the carpets were dirty, the coffee maker had coffee grounds inside and outside of it, and the fridge barely kept anything cold.
Again, being that it was Christmas is a really lame excuse when you rent out vacation homes at Christmas! Hello! Duhhhhhh!
It really doesn't matter what Bob says because not much of what I have heard from him is truthful. What matters is customer satisfaction and I am definitely not a satisfied customer. I will never use Bob's mgmt company again. I'm sending a letter too. Word of mouth goes a long way and as I said.....bait and switch will seriously hurt your business. If this was not a bait and switch....what is?
Did I mention the neighors who are 2 ft away paryting all night and yelling and singing with their spanish music blasted? Or the neighbors that got into fights and ran their cars up and down the rd squeeling tires all night? Or the trash all over the road since there is no trash bin and animals are free to tear it all up? It was not pleasant and I asked for pics and got now. I asked for details and got nothing but lies.
