We just returned from Orlando on Feb 10th. Our plan was to stay at the Point our first 3 nights, left to go to Fort Myers, for 5 nights, then back to the Point for the last 2 nights before flying back home. We started out at the Point in the Executive suite. It was a perfect size for 2 adults, very well appointed, and very clean. When we checked in we found out that these were really privately owned condos, that are rented out on a daily basis when not being used by the owners. The quality of the furnishings was much better than your basic mid-range hotel rooms. The pool area was always clean and inviting, and the front desk staff was top notch. We dealt with Fabio and Angela (the manager), and they couldn't have done more for us.
When we reached Fort Myers, we checked into a Best Western for our stay there. After getting into our room, we directly called back to the Point and asked them to add 3 more nights to our reservation, because the Best Western Hotel was, in our minds, sub-standard, old, and not kept up. We stayed there 2 nights, and headed back to Orlando where we were greeted by Fabio, and our room was upgraded to a beautiful 1 bedroom suite, for all nights, at no extra charge. Apparently, returning guests get an upgrade. The 1 bedroom suite has all the amenities of home, full size fridge, range, dishwasher and even washer and dryer.
Any time that we are in the Orlando area, this is the only hotel we would ever consider going to, as you are close to the attractions, shopping and restaurants.

I don't have a single thing to complain about! The location was absolutely perfect for our needs, right near International Drive and close to the parks and other activities. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Universal and Disney which is perfect to avoid paying for parking and it drops you off/picks you up at the perfect times! The room was spacious, VERY clean, and just what we needed. Definitely would stay here again and recommend!

We stayed for 17 nights at the point Orlando. The room was clean, nice amenities, but the true gem of this hotel is the staff! Fabio, Rosie, and Angela at front desk were super nice, professional and attentive to all our requests. Very close to wet and wild and universal and they have shuttle service too! Enjoyed the stay to the max and would certainly go back again and again.

Rooms are a good size and well furnished. Staff friendly and welcoming. Just be aware of resort tax that you have to pay at end of stay to which we were not made aware of.
