Since i have been in Florida for the time I have stayed I have had a great experience upon my stay at the Suburban Extended Stay in Orange Park, Florida. The staff is friendly and attentive. the price was affordable and I had a very enjoyable stay here.

I stayed two nights here. I could not take if any longer. The staff was friendly and attentive. They even moved me to another room when I checked in and immediately complained about the moldy musty smell in my room. However, the new room was JUST AS BAD. I guess it is just a problem here at this property. I have stayed at other motels nearby this property with NO MOLDY MUSTY ISSUES. The room itself was comfortable. Nice kitchen, TV, AC, Bed, etc. pretty clean. But, I just could not take the moldy musty odor. If you try this place, be sure to check out your room and you might consider a 2nd floor room. this may be a problem just on the ground floor.

This hotel was absolutely nasty! I was there on a summer internship. As soon as I got there to look at the hotel it looks worn out! I get to my room and it smelled of Mildew! It smelled so bad it made me sick to my stomach. So I went to the office to ask for another place to stay. They moved me to another room that smelt just as bad! Ok, internet service sucks! Nothing is the hotel problem! They are really rude! Now a couple of days ago I get my suitcases that have been there all along and find growing mold all over my suitcase, on the dresser, it was really nasty! And now the hotel says that it is not there responsibility that there is mold in the rooms!! The place is small, and nasty! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!

I have been staying here frequently due to business in the area. When I started staying there, since I needed to stay so often, I discussed a rate with the asst manager. After 3 mths, the rate was increased and upon speaking with the same manager, he pretty much said too bad, I shouldve known there was an increase in the summer. He was very smug & condescending, and did not care that I was not notified that the rate would need to be changed. This will be my last stay, as the La Quinta has the same rate!
The rooms I stayed in had been remodeled & furnishings were new, so I never had any issues with cleaniliness. However, I did witness 3 guests complain about their rooms not being adequately cleaned. It is obvious customer service is not important to this location. I stayed here because it was the cheapest rate & met my basic needs, but after being treated so rudely and feeling that I had a bait & switch pulled on me, it is not worth it.
