A colleague and I were traveling to Ocala on business. We had not made a reservation and I had not had an opportunity to check TripAdvisor so we took a chance and stopped here. It was close to the interstate and looked like a relatively new property. This is in the midst of Florida's "horse country": and there are two horse statues flanking the drive to the entrance of the hotel. Saw some young women in equestrian wear in the lobby. Check-in was easy and the staff were very friendly. Both our rooms were clean and comfortable. The only complaint I had with the room was that the bathroom door opened out and unless it was secured it would gradually open wider to block the entrance door. It was annoying and would have been moreso if I had been sharing the room. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows and a nice decor. The single serve coffee maker was put to use as was the small fridge. We did not use the exercise room, pool, or breakfast as we had a breakfast meeting so I can't contribute much about those amenities. The place was quiet and I would not hesitate to stay here again if in the area.
