“What an incredible place!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 May 2011

My wife, seven-year old son and I just returned from a four night stay at the Park Circle B&B.
What an incredible place!! Seven houses dating from the 1940's all lovingly cared for, preserved and maintained by the transplanted-Wisconsin hosts Margaret and Peter, who have owned them for 14 years.

ACCOMMODATIONS - We stayed in the Beach House. It was perfectly decorated for the name, plus it was quiet, comfortable and clean. It truly felt like our own home [only nicer, cleaner and in Florida!]. It consisted of two bedrooms, one with a queen and the other with two twins, which were converted into a king for my wife and I; all we had to do was ask before we arrived. The beds were incredibly comfortable. We also had a garage to park our rental car! The photos on their website are exactly as you will find your house. The kitchen had all kinds of cutlery, dishes and glasses. An added bonus was the television which had a great number of channels including Versus for us NHL fans!! We also toured all of the other houses which were all wonderful, particularly the Green House.

LOCATION - Park Circle B&B is situated in an upscale, quiet neighborhood. We felt safe during our entire stay. There are great lighted tennis courts and a nice playground for your use right behind the Beach House. The houses are across Gulf Blvd from the beach, but it's only a short walk on wide sidewalks and using pedestrian-controlled crosswalks. Alternatively, Margaret and Peter will provide a resident parking pass at no charge should you wish to drive and park at the beach [handy if you have chairs, etc.]. There is an excellent restaurant [Conch Republic – highly rated by Trip Advisor members] a really short walk across a quiet street just north of the property. Everything else, including a nice Publix supermarket is a short-drive away.

AMENITIES - All beach accessories [towels, umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, sand toys], as well as tennis rackets and balls plus some board games, are available for guests to borrow during their stay. All of these are provided at no extra charge [there are no hidden costs here]. Laundry facilities are on site and affordable as well. They have a nice gated, quiet pool for guests to use [no diving]. At the pool you will find nice lounge chairs and tables plus there are water noodles, etc. for kids/non-swimmers. They also provide housekeeping for the houses when [or if] you need it.

BREAKFAST - Was served from 8-9 AM every morning and was delicious no matter what Margaret cooked up. They always had a variety of cut fruit and some sort of freshly-baked pastries, as well as six or so types of dry cereals in addition to the ‘special entrée’. They also offered many types of juices for us non-coffee drinkers.

MARGARET AND PETER – You can likely tell from the preceding details that this pair really cares for their guests and will help you thoroughly enjoy your vacation no matter how long or short your stay. They offered us spot-on advice [when we asked] on restaurants, shopping, directions and also provided great conversation each morning. Yet they were never overburdening or pushy and we were always made to feel like we were part of their family during our stay.

My wife has been a travel agent for 14 years and she will highly recommend Park Circle B&B to anyone looking to visit the St. Pete-area.

Thank you Margaret and Peter for a wonderful, but way too short, stay!! We truly missed you and your Beach House when we moved onto the Disney-area.
We will return for a much longer stay on our next visit to Florida.

Highly recommended!!!

“Wow wow wow!”

We just got back from a family vacation in North Redington Beach, Florida. My wife found this hidden gem (although not so hidden - it's in a fantastic location!) and we couldn't be any happier.

From the time we arrived, to the time we left, we were taken care of by Margaret and Peter. We were greeted by Margaret, and then taken over to our own bungalow for a tour and explanation. Afterwards, either Margaret or Peter were always available to field any questions, from places to see, restaurants to eat at, or kid friendly activities. They are very knowledgeable!

Each morning we got an amazing breakfast. I can't even begin to desribe how delicious and nutritious these meals were. Fresh fruit and homemade pastries/goodies were always a part of each morning. Margaret then had a different yummy treat from creme brulee french toast to peach and raspberry puff pancakes. These breakfasts were the perfect start to each day's activities.

The property consists of multiple bungalows, so each family/guest has their own private home. This is unlike any other bed and breakfast I've come across where you are a guest in the owners home. The privacy and space was fantastic. We stayed in the Beach House which is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom bungalow. There is a full service kitchen for people who stay the week or more, plus an eating area and a living room. There is also a garage to park your vehicle in. The bed was comfortable, and the decor was right on with what you would expect in a "beach house". You can tell that a lot of thought and effort was put in to make the experience as authentic as possible. We also had our own private backyard with hammock, and sitting area. Each house also has a screened in porch, which I loved sitting in just enjoying taking in the scenery.

There is also a pool that is clean and kept at a very comfortable temperature. All towels are provided (including beach towels and bathroom towels) so you don't need to bring any from home! The beach is only a 5 to 10 minute walk. There are also several restaurants within walking distance, and even more within a close drive.

I would highly recommend this to couples or to families with children looking for an alternative to the hotel chain or condo renting options.

“Best bed and breakfast on the gulf coast.”

My husband and I stayed here with another couple. We stayed in the Green house. The cottage was so quaint and detailed. I loved how Margret thought of everything when she decorated the cottages. You will feel right at home here. Margret and her brother are so friendly and every breakfast was filled wonderful tales of how Park Place came to be. It really has history and both of them worked so hard to make this a wonderful vacation spot. Our trip included my birthday, the 4th of July and our wedding anniversary. Margret had a bottle of wine ready for us as she took note to why the trip was special when we spoke by phone. I ask many questions regarding Park Place; all Margret’s answers were true. It is truly a beautiful place. My husband and I stepped out for a few and when we returned, I found an umbrella out side the closed in porch to our cottage for us to use because it started raining. That says a lot. You really do not have to bring anything special everything is there for you. If you are looking for some peace to your soul or some fun in the sun……. visit Park Circle. Also, a great restaurant next store.

From the moment we checked in to this lovely place, we felt right at home. Margaret and Peter were exvcellent hosts. The breakfast was something to look forwaard to each morning. The pool was clear and inviting. We now consider this our "second home" Each bungalow has a unique theme and we could tell they were decorated with care.
