We recently stayed for the memorial day weekend and had a BLAST!!. The only thing I can say was not so good was the parking situation. They need to add more parking closer to the place not accross the street, one block down, behind the City Building. But overall the experience was EXCELLENT.. The staff was very pleasant (cant say that for the front desk, they didnt seem to care much of who you were and why you are there). The location is excellent and the rooms, well you cant beat it for the price. Its not the Ritz but it is very home like, especially traveling with small children. All the guest are nice too..Except for those who break the rules every morning with the cabanas..We are defenitely coming back irregardless of the minor set backs (parking).

We request no steps-had 10+ to get to BR. Carpet very dirty, furniture very cheap and inadquate, sheets so thin you could see thru them and they wouldn't stay on bed. Parking for on 20 cars with only 1 handicap space. Mgr made home-made handicap sign on 3rd day. L.Rm was a passageway to kitchen from frt door. If U made couch out into bed it was touching TV which was under stairs leading to bedrooms. Very small cramped space for 2 bedroom. Excell views from room.

It's easy to describe Grand Shores, old. This place is screaming "Upgrade! Upgrade! Upgrade!" but I guess people their don't notice the mouldy showers, hard as rock furniture and the horrible kitchen. Luckily my family stayed for only 5 days. Any longer I think I would have died. The pools though were just lovely! - Now what happened to the rooms. (Servise was average and what you expect) Oh and another thing.... it's IMPOSSIBLE to find parking!

My wife and I have had a very pleasant stay here.It is not the Crown Plaza...but what a very nice stay.The pool is gorgeous,the beach access easy,the outside tables pleasant ...in evening with a bottle of the red and a plate full of appetizers.Our room was clean more.... than adaquate.The views from the room..sunset and ocean.If you want the St Regis go pay a grand a week...if you want a nice place that is safe and close to all the places for food,drink etc......stay here.This is the Tiger fallout week.Tiger should have brought Elin down here and stayed away from all the other girls.He can change ...hopefully he will...for the benefit of his wife and children.Free wifi
