My family & I have been coming to the Ramada Inn Bayside in New Port Richey for years. It is an excellent value & we enjoy our stays more & more every year. We stay in the non-renovated rooms Bayside, they are nothing fancy, kind of a retro feel, like stepping back to a simpler time, but they are clean & well maintained. The TV works great with a quality cable package, the free WIFI is outstanding, the microwave & fridge in our room is great for keeping leftovers fresh & heating them up, the free continental breakfast will fill you up (there is even chocolate sauce & whipped cream for the Belgium waffles, and there is a fantastic Thai restaurant right on sight.

The owners are on site, they are friendly, and eager to resolve any problems that may arise. The staff at the front desk, along with maintenance, and housekeeping are pleasant and always more than willing to do whatever is needed to ensure your stay is a good one.

The Bayside is THE place to be! There are several snowbirds that gather each year to enjoy this gem. We love getting together with our friends year after year! It's the perfect place to be in the winter. The Bayside view cannot be beat! It is so relaxing to watch the boats into & out of the marina, and every so often, if you're lucky, dolphins will come into the brackish water to feed. The grassy area between the Bayside rooms and the water is outstanding for lounging or if you want to fire up your grill & have a cookout.

Who could ask for anything more?!?! We stay for about two months each winter, Outstanding!!!

When we booked our 1 night stay, my wife asked me, "How bad could it be?" Well let me tell you it wasn't pretty. The rooms haven't been updated in many, many years.The sink and the shower would have been great if I were 5 foot tall or less, but at 6 feet 2 inches it was a project to shower. When my wife got in the shower she was surprised to find a used, dirty wash cloth apparently left by the previous guest!!!
The bed was comfortable but the antique AC unit sounded like a 747 jet and made it very tough to sleep. There was also a youth football team staying in the hotel and we were greeted by their running around the hotel and parking lot beginning at 6:30 AM. When it was finally time to" get up", you notice I did not say "wake up", we were really looking forward to a hot cup of coffee.We made a cup in our room with the personal coffee maker. Well, I should say we tried to make coffee. The coffee was so old it came out of the bag in clumps. Not to worry I told my wife, just go down to the free breakfast! Without going into any details, here is my advice to you, "Avoid the "breakfast, it was nothing more than a few types of cereal and a waffle maker in a dirty, dreary room!"
We got our coffee on the road and then my wife jokingly said to me, "Now we know what you get for $50 a night!" Yes, not much and we will definitely not be back!

Very basic hotel room but decent for the pirce. I paid $60 for one night I was in town to go fishing with a friend. The place is well located for fishing in the area and I think that is the real reason to stay here.

The room was relatively clean and perfectly acceptable, just very basic. They offer a free continental breakfast that isn't so great but you can make your own waffles which were actually pretty good.

Ramada Bayside needs some updating but the room was comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. House keeping staff Rebecca was very friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. She did an outstanding job keeping our room clean and comfortable.
