I cannot understand how the other reviewers liked this place, it was terrible! My husband and I stayed there on January 20, 2012. It was inexpensive, but a rundown place. We went with a group of 11 people, for a nature outing. The group leader made a group reservation; we followed up with confirming our own separate reservations. When I called, 3 days before the trip, I was told there was no record of the reservation, even though I spelled the name 3 times and gave the confirmation number at least twice. However, the agreed price was honored, and there were plenty of rooms available.
the desk clerk spent a lot of time outside, smoking. We had dinner in the lounge. At before 7pm the restaurant was closed. The menu was limited and more like a lunch menu. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get our orders--my husband ordered a hamburger and I ordered a salad. The waitress (also serving as bartender) was out of the room most of the time, although she did come in to sing karaoke (no comment). My salad tasted very old and I felt sick after I ate it. The room was noisy and smelly. It was generally a bad experience at this place!
