“Clean, well furnished,poor breakfast,slamming doors”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

This small hotel is convenient to downtown Naples, well appointed and very clean, landscaping is impressive. The downside is a very bland breakfast of average coffee and packaged sugary muffins. The other problem is that half the rooms back up to an alley, cars are parked against your hotel room wall and when folks come and go you know about it, the doors on the rooms are such that if your neighbor closes the door hard or slams your unit vibrates and you will wake up. Oh yea, seven o'clock in the morning or so the garbage truck comes by the alley and you know the rest: you wake up. Get a room not backing to the alley and with respectful neighbors the door slamming will not be a problem. So a mixed review and if I stayed here again my room will not back to the alley.

Room Tip: Don't get a room that backs to the alley

“Great Place to stay downtown Naples, FL”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

i have been sending clients here for years but had not stayed here in 10 years or more. The rooms are very clean and the bed are excellent. Located blocks from 5th Ave, the shops and restaurants of downtown (3000 restaurant seats on 5 blocks of 5th Ave). I was very impressed with the property and the price for Naples are very reasonable.

Expensive compared to other motels but a lot cleaner & newer than most.

Would return again.

Room Tip: Some of the rooms have a door at the rear as well at the front and straight onto a parking lot rathe...

“A real gem”

Fantastic location within walking distance to historic district (Tin City), and 5th avenue and a short drive to 3rd street historic district and the pier - which is great for sunsets. Quirky in a lovely way, sort of semi motel style with central garden and pool. Super clean and tidy rooms with comfy beds - pillows a bit hard but that could just be me. Basic continental breakfast served by the pool. I thought it all had atmosphere and was great value in Naples. Would I stay there again - yes - wouldn't even think of checking out anywhere else.

Room Tip: Four poster queen size beds are a nice touch

“Tranquil oasis, excellent location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

Stayed here for a few days in January 2012 whilst visiting Naples. Was very pleased with the accommodation and loved the lush gardens and pool.
Basic self-service breakfast is provided (bagels, coffee, juice, muffins, etc.) which was more than sufficient for our needs - fresh fruit in addition to oranges would have been welcomed, but hardly a complaint!
Rooms surround lush gardens with Gazebo and heated swimming pool. Free parking is provided, and its a short walk to the popular Tin City or 5th Ave. South.
Naples is a very expensive town, and the value for money provided by the Lemon Tree Inn - in such a great location - is very good.

Kitchenette facilities are great. There are no in-room safes, but the front desk will stow any valuables in their safe if you need.

Would highly recommend (it was recommended to us)

Tip: There's a small organic greengrocer, Coopers Farm Market, across the road (US41) if you want to stock up on fruit for a picnic - the owner kindly washed and prepared the fruit for us! They sell homemade key-lime pie too. Also there's a CVS pharmacy / supermarket right next to the inn should you need to buy other stuff - the staff kindly swipe the "guest discount card" too if you ask!
