I chose the hotel based on the no pet policy, complimentary breakfast and also because they supposedly have a kitchinette. I travel with my 3 y.o son & other kids. If I were not using points I would have been devastated. There was no hot chocolate, and the breakfast was like mush. Kids don't drink coffee & tea!

There feet were BLACK after running from room to room. We had an adjoining room. This means the carpet is DIRTY.

I became sick from all the dirt in the carpet being rotated in the air conditioning.

The exterior was dingy & so was the inside. I would never go to that location again. Unfortunately we are heading to Tampa in the morning to another HI ... Hope it will be cleaner better & atleast have a microwave in the room.

This is just not as nice as mos of the HIEs that we have stayed at.
Not sure why, but the value just did not seem to be here.
Breakfast was OK, but small and crowded.

Next year I will probably stay elsewhere.

Stayed here at June. The receptionist gave us a friendly price because we arrived late! Nice touch! The rooms were clean but small for three persons. The breakfast was fine. A good value hotel for the night. Nothing special for mentioning.

Stayed here last weekend during a very busy weekend (youth soccer & wrestling), it was a very pleasant stay. Rooms were clean and roomy, started in a double and the mattresses were hard and was moved to a king, much better. Was checked in by the GM (Maria) and she was wonderful and very sincere, a welcome change to some other properties we've stayed at recently. The only issues I would address are the breakfast, typical HI express and good, but when we were leaving on Sunday and went to breakfast at 9:40 there wan't any food, we were told it closes at 10:00...the hostess had to break out more food and we had to wait for it to cook, but only limited items, no cinnamon rolls that my kids love. The price is a little steep for a HI express, $112 was more than should be paid for this property, other than that we will come back.
