I have to say that my expectations werent high, knowing this hotel is the first hotel you come to in collier county (if traveling I-75 alligator alley west bound). Boy was I surprised.

If your travel plans include the everglades, this hotel's location is perfect. I think its your best choice.

This is a fairly large hotel with lots of amenties. A gift shop, arcade room, pool, tiki-bar.
It reminded me more of the 'holidome' style holiday inn's that I used to enjoy when traveling with my parents, as a kid. There is a cracker barrel and waffle house right within its parking lot dont require you to 'fire up' the car again if you want to go out to eat.

I stayed in room 401, and there were no surprises. No bugs (a couple dead gnats near the window, but as long as its something thats not going to bite me, Im cool). Overall clean room, nice little balcony. My room didnt face the tiki bar (which is open till 11pm), so be aware that there could be noise from that up until 11am.

The only real complaint was the breakfast was a real free-for-all. Lots of people in a small area eating.

If you have kids (or dont have kids), this place will work perfect for you.

We love to stay at the Comfort Inn Suites. We have lots of kids so the pull out sofa and complimentary breakfast are both a huge bonus. Pool was very nice and fun for the kids. This hotel is older than some of our other experiences at Comfort Inn and Suites, so it was a little outdated, but for the price it is worth it. Perfect for a one night stay until our condo was ready at the beach.

Clean, tidy, just off hwy, little difficult to get to, but manageable.
