Second time staying at Naples Bay Resort, this time in a 2 bedroom suite. Very comfortable for 2 couples --- nice balcony, view of harbour etc. It is a smaller property so you get to know the staff and they are very accommodating. I booked with Roxanne who is exceptional -- and again in person each day we were there she assist us. Easy walk to downtown Naples, but you need to cab to 3rd Avenue. Also the shuttle boats stop right at the hotel which is an added benefit of this location. I would recommend for couples, especially looking to enjoy the dinners and night life in Naples.

Naples Bay Resort has what you need....someone to bring your bag to the room, someone to valet your car, an excellent restaurant on the property where you can dine or order something 'to go'. I did use the Spa and found the pools area to be well equipped as well as landscapped. The room was as large as a condo and included living area, dining table, very well-equipped kitchen. If there is any flaw, it may be the need for newer and easier to use heat/air controller. The concierage was especially helpful. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Positives: Beautiful, spacious rooms; our room overlooked marina; nice property (reminiscent of some of the nicer Mexican resorts), CLEAN, 1/4 mi walk to riverfront restaurants, 3/4 mile walk to downtown 5th Avenue area of Naples, comments of other guests were very favorable about Bonefish Grill on site (we did not try it), food not bad at Grill near spa and main pools (limited menu); FREE valet and garage parking
Negatives: I echo comments of some other guests that there were niggling little things with housekeeping, they were stingy with soaps/shampoos; there was a coffee/tea set up in room with no tea; when we asked for tea, we were brought herbal teas only; when we made a second request for black tea, we got more herbal tea! Front desk personnel were devoid of personality and always seemed terrified of making a mistake. There was a 1/2 mi walk from the main hotel to the main pools, spas, exercise equipment (no big deal for me, but may be consideration for other guests.
Other Considerations: There are condos/cottages on this expansive property. The cottages surround the main pool area and you may wish to check this out. Make sure you know if the resort fee is included in your price. Nearby Davis Blvd is a bit of a sketchy area (pawn shops, thrift stores), but it is separated from resort by a 5 lane highway and it really did not come into play. The areas in all other directions were very nice. Short drive to Naples beaches

My first time at this hotel. Enjoyed it very much. Although on a main road, it was very quiet. Pleasant staff. Beware $20 resort fee extra. Limited TV channels and not Hi-Def either. Quality furniture and large shower and bathroom was nice. A few blocks from downtown.
