Stayed there while studying personal real estate transaction and was in a spotlessly clean suite with THE most comfortable bed A very helpful proprietor and a "local", Henry Harer, knows this town of naples and it's waters like the dickens! He was happy and ready to share his knowledge of beaches, dining alone restaurants, local storm info, spot removal, gardening tips, and the like. The Gondolier is T R E A T..." She" is a wonderful chance to experience a well kept "blast of the past", in a perfectly located venue!

Gondolier Appartments were a real find in the Old Naples area. They are in the ideal spot to walk to the Beach or the shops and resturants of 5th Ave.
The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and very well equiped set in a beautiful garden courtyard.
Henry the owner was most knowledgeable about where to eat , shop and places to visit, providing maps menues etc.
The use of beach towels beach chairs and coolboxes added to the experience.

We stayed at the Gondolier for 2 nights during our Florida tour and it turned out to be the best place we stayed in our 14 night holiday. We popped into the Tourist Info shop in Old Naples and they told us about the Gondolier because we wanted somewhere to stay close to all the attractions/beach etc and not too expensive (we paid $77 per night inc taxes).

This place is right in the middle of a very expensive neighbourhood and about a 5 minute walk to the beach, the shops, the pier and everything else there is to do in Naples. The apartments have a very 50's feel to them but they are spotlessly clean and are well equiped. Henry the owner gives you a guided tour before you check in and gives you advice and directions on anything you need to know.

The utility area at the apartments has everything you could possibly need and it's all free to use as long as you return it. There are sun loungers, beach towels, cool boxes, parassols, sun cream, guide books, inflatables and anything else you could want for a day at the beach. Theres also laundry facilities and a microwave at your disposal. The little touch I particulary liked was the pile of menus Henry has that allows you to choose which restaurant you want to eat at before you leave to go out.

This place was by far the nicest we stopped in during our two week Florida holiday and would reccomend it to anyone and everyone.

The Gondolier Inn and Apartments was a perfect choice for a refreshing break from this year's seemingly endless New England winter. We have been talking since we arrived about when to return. We had everything we needed - a very comfortable bed, good air conditioning, a kitchenette, scrupulous cleanliness, and an affordable price tag. The retro-fifties decor of the Gondolier is tasteful and lovingly maintained. Mostly everything of importance to us was within easy walking distance, especially the extraordinarily beautiful beach, and beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrellas were supplied by the owner. He himself is generous with helpful information about Naples, and aims to keep his guests happy and comfortable. In this he succeeds!
