Very spacious suites with a mini kitchen,we like the tower ,great views! Looks like they are doing a lot of upgrading ,noticed changes from our previous trips.

“A Lovely Long Weekend Stay”

A lovely hotel without a pretentious bone in it's body. Fine staff, good food, nice location, clean, and, perhaps most important for us, quiet.

We ate both breakfast and lunch here daily, and each meal was very good. The wait staff is charming and efficient.

Our "room" was a most comfortable bedroom, a spacious living area, a small dining area, and a bit more than a kitchenette.

They have plenty of beachfront, as well as two pools and a poolside bar. Lounge chairs are available (at no charge) as are umbrellas and cabanas (fee for use).

We both agreed that we would go again next year...

Room Tip: I think all rooms have a Gulf view, but be sure to check... I'm assuming that the rooms are all...

Thank you for sharing your review with other travelers. We are so happy to hear that you truly enjoyed your time with us. We are actually the only all-suite beachfront hotel in Naples, however some rooms do have “naples” views. We are pleased to hear that you will be joining us again in the future and look forward to seeing you again.

“Great location, but....”

I have stayed at this hotel for the past few years, mostly for the location and views. However, i just returned from a week's stay and was unpleasantly surprised by several changes. First, they have jacked the rates way up on the hotel in ALL areas---the food, room rates, services, etc. They charged me $25 a day as a "resort" fee which is supposed to include coffee in my room. However, every day I had to call down to have coffee brought to my room. The carpet was very stained and needed cleaning. The maids basically show up at random and on several occasions not unitl 4 in the afternoon, in addtion to not cleaning the kitchen completely. I heard others making the same comments and observations who were repeat guests. They also charge you $15 a day to "self park". Are you kidding me?? What's next, charing an "elevator use" fee? This place does have great views and a very good location, but when you factor in the easy ability to get access to the beach, sunsets, and plenty of great resturants in the area, I believe the value this place used to represent is declining. I think they have overplayed thier hand by banking on thier location to allow them to dramatically raise prices acroos the board indescriminitely. Too bad. Corporate greed strikes again.....

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We are saddened to hear that you are unpleasantly surprised with the recent changes to our fees. I am concerned to hear that you were charged for both a resort charge and self parking, as self parking is included in the resort charge as well as amenities such as the business center, fitness center, laundry facility, daily newspaper, and beach equipment. Someone will contact you privately about your folio so we can adjust it accordingly. We are sorry for this inconvenience and will address it immediately. Thank you again for sharing your comments and please consider revisiting our hotel on your next trip to Naples.

“We'll be back for sure next Jan 2013”

We booked a last minute trip to Fla and stayed at the Edgewater. We had been 3 yrs before and thought we would try again. It was the right choice. The staff was fine and attentive, we loved spending time by the pool and enjoyed lunch from the pool bar almost every day. The food was surprisingly good and well presented and the beverages were fine. We had our 4 yr old with us and we were all treated like family. Yes there are some minor concerns with wear and tear of some of the premises, but not enough for us to be overly alarmed. We are seasoned international travelers and believe me, we have seen a lot worse for more money. Plus it was peaceful and quiet. We also met quite a few nice people and some said they've been returning back to the hotel for years. The beach location is also magnificent and the hotel's the easy access to the beautiful Old Naples, superb zoo, wonderful mall and the Cheesecake Factory really fit our bill. We'll be back next year for sure

Room Tip: Yes the tower rooms are great but we'll try the 2 bedroom condo by the pool next time as our son...

“A little slice of paradise on the Gulf coast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Just spent a few glorious days at this absolutely delightful place. The accommodations were just breathtaking - unobstructed views of spectacular sunsets, great food, and wonderfully staffed. The property is unassuming from the street but the interiors are swanky, the pool area gorgeous, and the beach front simply glistening. We were there for an executive business session and some R and R afterwards. Grand slam on both fronts. A return visit is unquestionably in the cards.

Room Tip: Try to get either a poolside or gulf view.
