When we first came to Mount Dora to visit, we were very impressed about this town and decided it wouldnt be the last time for us and it wasn't. A great place to relax, kick back and spend time away from all the daily stress' and business activities.
Very unusual sites and the flair of this town was very impressive to us. Trimble Park is our sons favourite place. Across from the Park a stroll on the shores of Mount Dora and perhaps a lil' shopping tour through town makes a visit very enjoyable. We always enjoy the various historical buildings and restaurants, most of all, the events we never want to miss such as Antique car or boat shows, the Art Festival etc. pp.
Mount Dora is a place for everyone to enjoy. Very recommendable!!!!!
Nice, though small local park for a quiet summer picnic, although it does get busy on weekends. Plenty of picnic tables and grills.
I have been comming to events hear to year and last year I held my daughters birthday hear it's a great park with even better staff they really make this place always friendly and helpful. the park is a peninsula surrounded on three sides by water, so their is always a nice breeze, It's in Mt. Dora but also in Orange County, so be warned it confusing but worth it.
This park has been here for most of 50 years. It has been up-dated and improved. Located on an out of the area that only locals will know about or how to find
i enjoyed the nice quiet views of the lake the board walks thru the woods they offer a nice boat ramp clean, camp grounds and a good picnic area and play ground but you can fish with a license. near enough to the action of mount dora if you call it that .. so all around a win win
I enjoy going to Trimble Park on a weekday when it is not too crowded. I love the ambiance of the park with its giant oak trees draped with Spanish moss and its meandering shoreline along the lake. It's a good place to sit for a spell and write or just think. A quiet oasis not far from Mount Dora.
