We stayed in this hotel for 4 days and we payed for three people I, my husband and my son less than a hundred dollars for day,The hotel is old, but the people are very friendly.The room has a refrigerator and a wonderful view from the Miami.The beds are old and the sheets too, one of them was broke and my husband had to sleep in just one side of the bed, the bathroom is old and there was a leak in the bathtub.And we used the parking lot beside the hotel it was 15 dollars for day.For the price and the location I thing you can bear these things.The wi-fi just works in the lobby there isn't connections in the rooms.

had a gr8 stay for 5 days in Miami with my Mother. absolutely enjoyed- the staff are friendly and helpful. Luis the concierge is helpful and smart,, the receptionist, Yadira, Dennis and Betsy are always smiling and pleasant. hotel might need renovation, but a very good deal for a cheap hotel in Downtown area and right opposite the bayside. my Mom says she will be back to Miami and will stay at the same hotel.. thanks to all the staff...gr8 job.

The staff at the hotel was wonderful. We stayed the nights before and after our cruise. Although we showed well before check in they gave us a room right away. The older guy that works the concierge was very helpful getting us a shuttle to the airport. Let me plug Airport Trans Tours for a shuttle service. The driver even brought back our hotel key since we were in a mad rush for the airport and completely forgot to check out! The only downside, which may be a problem for extended stays, is that the beds and pillow are super hard. I even had a stiff neck for 2 days of my wedding cruise. If they just upgraded a little bit this would be a decent place to stay for the price and location.

We stayed at this hotel 12/16/2011 for one night prior to leaving on a cruise. After reading some of the previous reviews I was a little concerned but.... The hotel was clean and more than adequate for the small price that was asked for lodging. ' Bayside' is across the street -a short walk- to numerous shop vendors on the ground floor and many restaurants on the second floor showcasing the harbor and many boats. The Bayside restaurant / vendor area is also accessible by walking from the Intercontinental Hotel and the Holiday Inn,both of which are more pricey. The block next to the Continental Bayside Hotel touts apartments that sell/rent for 200k and up- so not a shoddy area.

The beds were good,the room clean,the staff knowledgeable,and we enjoyed the walk and dinner across the street at 'Bayside.' The rooms were simple,clean and functional. If you are looking for
frills plan to pay more and go elsewhere. Shuttle ($6.00 per person) right outside hotel. Easy access to port/ terminal.
