“Avoid at all costs!”

Stayed here for one night last week as we were going to Shark Valley the next morning and this was a close place to stay! really should have read the reviews and looked for another place to stay! Since i am not a gambler i was gonna go to the pool and relax...what a mistake! the pool was COLD, so i thought i'd sit in the hottub, it was cooler then usual and the jets were sending out cold water. Since i couldnt do that, i thought i would use the internet i had to pay for when i checked in...surprise surprise the internet didnt work!!! the rest of our party didnt mind the hotel because their gamblers, but this place is definatly NOT on our list of places to stay again....

“Not as bad as we thought it was going to be!”

We were both apprehensive about this hotel because of the negative reviews. It was our third stop of a 2 week Floriday flydrive holiday so were only here for one night. When we arrived we struggle to find somewhere to park so we thought the hotel must be busy! In the morning ours was one of the few cars in the car park so i guess they must have all been punters in the casino. The hotel check in staff were friendly but the key card swipe for the room didn't work correctly the first time so had to go all the way back down to reception to get this sorted. The room was nice and clean - shower was powerful. We then had a look round the casino but it was very smoky as previously mentioned. It really was strange coming from the UK to be in somewhere inside where people were smoking - thank god for the smoking ban though is all I can say! We then ate in the restuarant which was very cheap and there was lots of choice (same for breakfast) but the food was a bit bland but to be expected I guess. The hotel is in a great location - just at the start of the Tamiami trail through the Everglades. We stopped at Gator park for an airboat ride which was a slight disappointment - there are plenty of others alond the route to Naples though. Remember to pick up a voucher book from the hotel lobby for discounts! All in all not a bad hotel but seems a bit of a shame that the native Americans have had to resort to gambling hotel/casinos for business.

“Staff could use a lesson in hospitality!”

We were in Florida for vacation and traveling. We decided to stop here because it was close. We have stayed at plenty of hotel casinos in the past and we were very surprised at the price for a mid week stay. $119 which did include breakfast. I advise pass on the free breakfast. When we arrived check in was easy and the staff at hotel check in were friendly and fast and that's were it ended. We went to eat in the buffet and we must have waited over 10 minutes to be seated and they were not busy. The food was terrible. But want do you want for $11. After we ate we went down to players club check in and sign up. The staff of 4 women there. Terrible! They were more concerned with finding a good deal on hair extensions then helping us! Then when we were assisted the staff continued on with their conversation and were not friendly at all. No free softdrinks. We never even seen a waitress. The rest of the staff also were somewhat rude and had no sense of urgency or concern for there guests. DO NOT STAY HERE! Go to the Hard Rock!

“Terrible Terrible TERRIBLE!”

The only reason we stayed here was because our flight in Key West was delayed which made us miss our connecting flight in Miami. This was the hotel American Airlines put us in and it was terrible from the minute you walked in the door. The front lobby is right off the gambling floor and was filled with smoke from the casino, if you even want to call it that. The staff was rude and uninviting. The room was totally outdated and dirty. The bathroom had rust stains galore and hair on the floor from previous customers. We found dirty underware in the room and when we called the front desk we were told there was nothing they could do about it at that time of the night...it was 11:30! We woke up in the morning with itchy red spots on our bodies...probably from bed bugs! Would never stay here again and will never use American Airlines again!

“ONe Night was Enough”

Nothing Special. Would not call it a full fledged casino more like a glorified bingo hall with sub par slots and tiny poker room. No craps, no blackjack, no roulette. Can walk the entire gaming area in 15 minutes.

The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly.
The buffet was more of the truck stop variety, Not many choices.
Breakfast was good
Bar drink prices were very good.
Close to the main entrance ot the Everglades National Park

Would not stay again...even if you are a gambler. The staff at the hotel recommended the Hard Rock Casino for a better casino experience ?

Your in Miami....no outdooor pool ????????
